Ahlusion LLC Chat Thread

You all heard me complain a while ago, when I got shingles. Don't know if I said back then that I got it due to my resistance being low, after being prescribed Prednisone for an ear problem.
Long story short, the ear problem came back. I went back to the ENT, and he gave me a different treatment -- he put a cream (another steroid, I think, that he promised would have NO side effect), and I had to keep it in there for a week. A week of total blockage. Boy did I get tired of hearing the sound inside my head!
The time finally came to have the cream removed, and OMG what a pleasure it is to have binaural hearing again! To make this all vaping-related, I think my ability to smell and taste must've been partially blocked too. SO nice to be getting back to normal. I've been listening to all my fave music (I'm old so that means Steely Dan) and it feels so great.

Don't leave out the Honeydrippers. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Brian Setzer, Paul Shaffer, and a few others. They made 1 album called The Honeydrippers Vol 1. It's a relatively short album but there is not a single song on there that doesn't knock your socks off if this is your kind of music. They had planned a second album but one of the members died.

ALL great music everyone's been posting. I recorded the old S & G concert in Central Park from PBS; talk about a time trip! One band not mentioned that I also love is Squeeze. They were like the Beatles but updated. I see Jeff Lynne is releasing a new album too...heard one song that sounded like ELO spliced with vintage Lennon.

I have been alternating between sweetened and unsweetened juices. What I am finding is that the sweetened juices have more flavor for me. I find when I vape the same flavor unsweetened, it fall flat. It borders on bland even though I know I love the flavor. Mind you I have only done this on a couple of flavors, Pineapple Cream, Cantal-Berry and Lemon Cream. But it is clear my palate likes the sweet stuff LOL

@Sirius I got my sample of Lime Cream today. OMGosh I wanted to drink it out of the bottle. (of course I didn't but I kept the bottle stuck up my nose for well......long enough LOL) Going to be trying that one FOOB. Hope the taste matches the aroma. I did get it unsweetened so I might try one sweetened on the next order.

I am currently vaping Caramel Pear Black Tea and loving it. I've had it about a week now. Does anyone know if AHL teas have caffiene in them? I looked on the site and it didn't say anything about it but I was reading it and I saw where some of the juices can have it.

I also got my Mango Lassi (sweet and unsweet) Hope to get that in a tank some time tonight.

I did Pineapple USD Cake earlier today. It was FOOB but this one is going to have to steep. I got lots of pineapple but the cake part tasted like dirty cardboard or stale something. Not sure but that is going to have to disappear for me to vape that one. I got it unsweetened. Maybe it would be better with sweetener. LOL

Caramel Coffee (Sweetened)

You have some serious taste testing to accomplish over the next few weeks my friend. It would be great if you could report back on your favorites after completion of your testing task. I'm still perfecting my order list, checking it twice, (more like 100 times) before placing my order.

I can totally relate to that...earlier this year I got a cold, which wasn't so terribly bad in itself, but it stopped up my left ear so bad for about 3 weeks and I could barely hear anything, except like you said, the sound inside my head! Oh my, that drove me crazy. Once I could finally hear fully again I was so happy and went on a music binge for days!...So glad to hear that you're doing better now!
