Okay Ahlusionati, I need advice and recommendations on a tank system that will fit 510 threads. I have been using a Kanger T2 clearo set up about 90% of the time, dripping on an old fashioned 510 drippers the rest. Use them until they wear out and replace.

With pending regulations and the T2 being very hard to find these days, it is time I learned to be more independent. I know nothing about rebuilding and do not have a meter(yet). Cost and ease of use are factors as I will probably buy several. I currently use EGO style equipment for batteries with one basic 18650 device. I will have a VV mod option or two soon.

Preference is 2.5-4 ml tank size, Rebuildable but with a market for affordable, pre-made replacement heads.
I don't care about cloud chasing or sub ohm. I like flavor and a slightly warmer vape I get from the top coil T2 versus all of the newer bottom coil stuff.

What are the best options for me?

Hi, Apptiger! It's been a while since I retired my T2 and my 510 Joye atties, so I don't know if I can be of any help, but I'll try.

We've come a long way. New tankomizers are much more advanced and user friendly than the T2--IMO. If you want to stay with eGo-threading, consider Eleaf GS 16 tanks or a Cero Tank mini (takes both Kanger and Aspire BVC coils).

Eleaf GS16S BCC Glass Clearomizer 1ML - $7.50 : Rocky Mountain Vapor, The Mountain top of Electronic Cigarettes

Anyvape Cerotank Mini Glassomizer bdc bvc Glassomizer tank CLEARANCE SALE!!!!

That said, I'd recommend moving up to 510 threaded small vw box mods like iStick 30, Heatvape Defender or Innokin Cool Fire 4 and 510 tanks. Both Eleaf GS Air tanks and Cero tanks are nice and come with 510 threading and different sizes. I like Eleaf Air tanks--I own every size and I like them all. The shorty (Eleaf MS) will perhaps give you a bit warmer vape because of the closer proximity of the heating coil to your lips. Rocky Mountain Vapor still has their 'summer 2015" 25% off sale, linked above. GS Air 1.5Ω coils are easy to rebuild, a plus if you are thinking about rebuilding.

Or you might even like Kanger Subtank mini V2--comes with replaceable coils, an RBA deck (very easy to build), and delivers a nice warm vape.

Good luck!

When I first progressed from T2"s I went to Kanger Protanks. They fit alright onto my Ego's and made a world of difference. Especially once the air flow control was added. Super easy. I stayed here for months and was as happy as could be before I moved to rebuildables and mostly because I hated being a slave to the cost of buying coils weekly. Coils are dirt cheap. Perfect tootle puffer
Kanger ProTank II
Kanger Tank Airflow Control Valve - V1
NEW Kanger ProTank & Evod Cotton Coils - 5 pack - 1.8ohms (SOCC)

Here's what I posted: Another ECF friend who doesn't FB, but does love Ahlusion--for EleanorR: Saturday Morning: The elusive, never-thought-I-would have-one All-Day-Vape! Never grows old or bland, goes with everything and nothing!

Thank you!! :):)

I adore the new Kanger Japanese Cotton coils (SOCC)! Never thought a wick could make such a flavor difference -- but it really does! :)

I think there's something wrong with Yin Yang... It apparently evaporates right out of my tank, and even out of a closed glass bottle! I don't think I've EVER had an eliquid disappear so quickly!
Good stuff..I keep forgetting to reorder though.. Next one for sure.

Aspire Triton.. I'm not a tank person preferring squonkers, but the taste is terrific with the Triton.

Hi App,

If low wattage, tootle puffing is your thang, I REALLY love the Kayfun Lite. They've sold a zillion for a reason. Knockoffs are $25 ish I think. NO replaceable coil option though, but with temp control, I am discovering them all over again. SO easy to build on too. For replaceable coils, I LOVE the Crown, and it CAN be had with an RBA, AND also high ohm OCC heads for tootling. Not sure about the high ohm heads, but the low ones are cloudmakers, and DO go through a lot of juice.

I just bought my first subtank mini's, and have yet to try them. The big plus on those, is all the coil/rba options, and they are SO popular, that the OCC coils should be around for a VERY long time. All I got, buddy! :)

Vaping Strawberry Shortcake tonight. Been awhile since I bought it. Mr Mann was raving about it around the time he was celebrating his deal on the upgrade win. I bought 2 60mls. Steeped it awhile and liked it alright but nothing to rave about. Got into it this weekend, that would mean it is probably about a year old and it is GLORIOUS.

aw, NOW I am going to have to buy a bottle of Strawberry Shortcake, and LOSE it. I always thought it QUITE good in the first place, but GLORIOUS!? That I want to see, for sure! I can believe it.

LeBeau, you ain't kiddin' about those sub ohm coils being juice hawgs!
Wlad can hear the sucking sounds in Swartz Creek coming from my tank in South Carolina I'm sure...And my bank account wishes I'd never heard the word Ahlusion!

I want to wish everyone a great Thanksgiving too. This year it's just Eric and me, but I'm going all-out with a big meal. Since I don't splurge on sugary treats too often, I decided to try making something I figured would be a yummy dessert. Not seasonal, but you know what I like: Key Lime Pie! No one's found it as a vape but I'm sure it'll be a delicious finish to our dinner.

For those asking about Black Friday sales from Ahlusion, this is from their FB page:

Folks have been asking if we're running any "Black Friday" sales etc; short answer is no. We're avoiding any rushes as usual and we will be running sales throughout the month instead as we ramp down production for the year. Sales are not always announced here; please check back on our main site instead. We have also posted our Holiday shipping schedule (linked on every custom e-liquid page).

Lol... the only place that does sales 364 days a year... Gotta love Wlad's contrarian views.

LOL, I figured out a lot of people by the thread on favorite flavors. I was reading the comments, and kept thinking... "Now who said they loved ___?"

I'm not that hard to guess, since I actually use my real name (or some of it) on here! :D

Oh, and thanks!

No kidding! No complaints here, either. Some vendors, people are all excited to just get 15% off twice a year!

Mine would have been a dead giveaway even if I had put Rick's Request. Everyone that knows me knows that and Shipwreck have been mainstays since I discovered them. I'm a bit tired of RR now but Shipwreck I never tire of.
Besides that, I did add my forum name lol.

And YW, I always guess the sweeties though...lol
