That's terrible! Did Wlad say why that classification would stop sales to other states?
Quoted (I sure hope Wlad doesn't mind [emoji15] ) ...."If it gets classified as a tobacco product, then all legal intra-state e-commerce shuts down unless it goes through proper B2B channels - where ever similar laws are implemented......"

So yes, you could talk a business near you into selling Ahlusion....just wondering how long it would be worth it for Michigan businesses to stay in business? I'll be writing my letters & making my comments this weekend, that's for sure!!

Now I'M confused. Intra is WITHIN the state, Inter is OUTside of the state. Is he saying he then cannot both be a manufacturer and distributor within the state, or, as I am assuming, INTERstate was intended, and he can only sell, in the cases of states with the same laws, to retailers within those states?

The way I read it, is IF you live in a state besides Michigan, who ALSO has classified Eliquid as a tobacco product, only THEN would the residents of that state be unable to order direct from Ahlusion. Not sure how all this plays with what the FDA is doing, as far as THEM deeming them to be tobacco products. Hmmm...

It's all pretty confusing. What you're saying makes sense. I know there is a law that prohibits mailing analog cigs from one state to another, but I think it can be done from one retailer to another regardless of what states they are in. I bet that's it.

I have all 8 iStick colors — Black, red, silver, blue, porcelain, graphite, wood and wavy black. I got them in co-ops so they were really cheap. I have tanks or atomizers on about half of them (plus the mini volt) and the others are charged up. So when one dies, I pop another on the tank.

Currently in rotation, Banana Cream Pie, the last of the Mango Lassi, Autumn Mist, Rasputin, Peppermint Bark and Caviar, (not Ahlusion). I probably won't reorder the BCP (the banana tastes too ripe for me) but the others are so good I keep not trying all the other flavors I've ordered.

:D They are pretty doggone nifty APVs . . . very deserving of Ahlusion goodness!

I found the porcelain iStick at World of Vape, I think, for $32 or $33. It's very pretty. How does the finish on it do over time? I'd like to get that one soon. The surface of my blue iStick is scratched.
I haven't had a problem with the finish on any of them. Of the limited edition ones, the porcelain and wood are the prettiest. The graphite is nice and the wavy black is eh.

I'm glad to hear you are home and doing well, @Sirius! So sorry to hear that you ended up with an ungrateful "friend".

Copied from Ahlusion's FB page... [emoji35]

And here we go: Michigan Legislature - Senate Bill 0807 (2016) - an attempt to reclassify vape products and impose a tax on both e-liquids and hardware.

Alaska is trying to do the same thing along with a 100% tax on every vape product!

:lol::lol::lol:

And this is why we LOVE our Bukket so!!:p:p:wub::wub:

I snagged a couple of iStick Basic Kits (hot pink, satin gray) over the Valentine Day sales . . . came equipped with very low-ohm GS Air 2 tanks. Filled up the gray one today with Saturday Morning, and had been puffing contentedly away, when:
 Lawzamighty! The 2ml tank is nearly empty already!! Doggone sub-ohm tanks sure do guzzle juice! :(

Thank you, @EleanorR.

I have a pink iStick Basic and I really love it. I'd buy more but I'm only buying mods with replaceable batteries for now. I need to be prepared with enough mods that will last in case they pass our stupid law. It's so incredible to me. Our Governor believes taxing vape products will hurt Big Tobacco! All it's going to do is put a lot of people out of work. We have a lot of vape stores in town now.

That's terrible! Did Wlad say why that classification would stop sales to other states?

It all has to do with taxes. It's the same thing that stopped us from being able to buy cigarettes from other states.

You KNOW I'll do that for my Ahlusion peeps. :)

You might end up with a full time job. But if it goes the same way as cigarettes the next thing will be that none of the shippers will accept vape products. USPS was the first one to stop.

I need to figure out how much juice my liter of 100mg nicotine will make. I'm sure I need to buy more and I'd better do it soon. I'm really hoping that Ahlusion will start selling flavoring. They can't stop them from selling flavoring!

Yeah, it was a big waste of my time and money now that they are showing their true colors. I really enjoyed the thought I was helping too. :(

Does anyone know if people who live outside of Michigan can write and effect any sort of change? Or do we need to be residents? I'd be happy to write letters to any and all.

The way I see it, 2016 is going to be the year where we, vapers, either get loud and fight for our rights, or go underground. And I'd prefer not to go underground if at all possible.

Insane. I have no problem with state and local sales taxes applying to vape product (and NYC has the highest sales tax in the country) but the idea of hitting them with a sin tax is unconscionable. What they're doing, of course, is trying to make up for the revenue they've lost on cigarette sales. But what they're saying is "We always told you what a horrible person you were for smoking and that you should quit. But what we meant is once you smoked you will remain a horrible person for the rest of your life unless the only nicotine you use comes from a patch or gum."

I'm collecting things like the iStick for the same reason. A Panasonic 18650 weight 1.5 ounces which means I need a device that weighs under 2 ounces for it to be light enough. The Gripper is but it's so cheaply made that you're lucky if it last 6 months. I have one more iStick30 that I've never used except to test it when it came and a couple of iStick20s that I don't use because the settings don't lock so I tend to change them while I vape (but, come the vapocalypse I would.) And I still have a bunch of EVODs and eGos (although most aren't variable voltage and 3.7v doesn't really do it for me now.) So I'll keep buying light ones when I see them cheap enough until I have enough to last at least a few years. :D

That's what I was thinking. I'd be fine with Wlad selling the flavoring with instructions like "add 2ml of 100mg for xmg juice."

I'm a little afraid of 100mg liquid. I'm planning to stock up on 50 or 60. What level do you vape at? I can do the math for how to dilute your 100mg to that.

Wow... the vaping world is changing at warp speed. Like many of you, I started vaping long before most of the cool kids. Back when I first started vaping, there were very few vendors, hardware was very limited, and there were less than a dozen eliquid vendors across the country.

Tonight I'm just relaxing.... vaping Sunday Morning my new Sigelei FUCHAI 200W TC topped with a Lemo RTA. Reminiscing about the early days of vaping- harsh dry hits, juice running down my arm, my fav juice vendors closing down for weeks at a time as they went on vacation, and waiting for months to get the hottest new juice like Bobas Bounty and BWB RY4. I don't miss those days at all. So much high-tech stuff available and all so inexpensive today- now that vaping is mainstream. Still loving Ahlusion and so glad to see Wlad offering new flavors regularly. Hoping and praying the FDA doesn't destroy the industry.

Hi @randyc! Good to see (read) ya again! Do you mean FDA or? I hope no one ruins it. The advances in hardware, and eliquid, making it safer and more efficient could all be shattered. I don't look forward to going "underground". I fear we would regress.

I agree with everything you've said. Alaska doesn't have a state income tax and Anchorage has no sales tax but they're going to double the price of vaping products! It's totally irresponsible. We have one of the highest cigarette taxes so they're going to punish people that quit smoking since they aren't collecting as much in taxes.

I have a lot of mods. I trust that my 4 Provaris will last a long time. I've bought one for myself on each Vapeaversary and even the 4 year old one works great. It's my pink one. :) I have 3 Cloupor mini 30W and 2 more on the way from Fasttech's 20% off sale. Plus a couple of iStick 60W and Evic minis. I've also got a lot of mechanical mods and tons of ego batteries. I think I bought every ego Q and K there is. Lol. All of my iStick 40W have stopped working. They don't read any atomizers. I did have 5 MVPs but the battery is about dead on the last 3 that are still working. I hate that I can't replace the battery and keep using them.

I was a bit worried about the 100mg but it takes up less room and you just have to be very careful when using it. I finally decided that it would be easier to use if I have to get into DIY. You have to be just as safe with the 50 and 60 so I went for it. I've been saving all of my 60ml bottles to reuse.

I vape 6 mg now and would lower myself to 3 mg when I started to make my own. I've been thinking about stepping down to 3 mg now. My Pineapple Cream arrived today! Yum :p

Hi clnir, Yes I , meant FDA (silly auto-correct :)) Always great to read you too! We've advanced way too much to be be pushed underground. that would be a shame....

My blue 30 is looking starting to look scratched. I've had the silver one for a lot longer and there's nary a scratch on it. My pink one is still in the box it came in, so it's pristine. I'll be interested to see how the pink one does when I start using it.
