I have 12 Pit Bull/Mastiff mixed in my,..and my niece's care, looking for homes. Unfortunately, that pup ain't mine. I would take on one of the Bull/Mastiffs but I wouldn't be able to afford to feed it. The mama's huge and belongs to the neice. They are weened and ready for homes. Hoping to get those settled in then it's the SC State Dog for me once again. Boykin Spaniel.

Well, my gut feeling was that we better start thinking about having to make our own at some point in the future, maybe not so far, maybe darn near.

Sad to say, that my Hero and Idol, confirms this himself, on his own storefront webpage. Wlad is openly advising his customers, that you better think about learning to mix. Which says a LOT both about the current sitaution, as well as Wlad himself. In fact, it WAS Wlad who 3 years ago, suggested to me what he felt was the best possible source for the cleanest, most accurate nicotine. A 500ml purchased right then, and stored without opening, in the basement chest freezer, proves him correct. Upon opening 3 years later, it was as clean, pure, and smelled as fresh as the opened bottles I had been working with 3 years previously.

Bukket, you can try lifting the little pin in the iStick, where your tank connects. You have to be very careful & gentle, just barely lifting it, but that can help sometimes. Then use your adapter or just the tank.....might be worth a try? All my 20th iSticks stopped working because the threads stripped on the mod. The 30w's won't do that tho.

I went through and copied all of HIC's recipes that I was interested in. Going to try the Pina Colada and see if it's something I can vape. I figure it's worth trying before I spend a lot stocking up for DIY. Thank you for the info!

@LouisLeBeau, What company did you get the nicotine from? I know I need to buy a lot more and I'd like the best I can get. I can use what I already have to experiment and save the good stuff for when I have no other choice. Has Wlad said anything about making flavoring?

The Nic I got was MyFreedomSmokes, but importantly, in the GLASS BOTTLES. It is more expensive, but the plastic WILL absorb air over that much time. A lot of DIY'ers swear by Nicotine River, but I don't have experience with them.

Nude Nicotine also makes bottles called "V2 Armour" that have a collapsable bladder in them. The idea is that you can withdraw your nicotine from the bottle with a hypo through the top resealable membrane, and the bladder prevents oxygen from displacing the nic, deteriorating your juice. IT IS UNPROVEN. Nobody has HAD a bottle of V2 Armour for that length of time yet.

God, I talk a lot. There IS a way to get nic REALLY cheap from MFS (Myfreedomsmokes) and make it convenient, and likely to last you darn near your lifetime. You would need argon gas, those little rubber corks with two holes like ya used in chemistry, some plastic tubing and glass pipettes. It would be OK to start with the CHEAP MFS nicotine in plastic. Just a few months ago, they had 200mg/ml for, if I remember right, about $30/Ltr. For those mechanically, scientifically inclined..

get glass 10 100ml bottles, or 17 60's. Stopper them with dual pipette stoppers. Run a piece of tubing from one to a jar of water (keeps air out) run another hose from the 2nd pipette. Squirt a lil argon in there to purge the O2 from tubes and bottle. Setup your 200mg nic (or 100) the same way. Rubber stopper, two pipettes, ONE of these MUST have glass or hose that runs all the way to the bottom of the nic, and 1 hose to hook to the argon. You can purge your nic when you put the cork in.

Sounds comlicated, but it's not. The point of the exercise is to slowly pump argon into the bignic bottle, to displace nictone from your supply into the small bottles, without letting oxygen mix into it. Once they are full, just top em up with a lil more argon, and seal.

Do NOT fear that sudden changes in the laws or rules will make nicotine shoot up in price. It will NOT. We are the SAME number of vapers using it, whether it is shipping to Cutwood, Ahlusion, or directly to us. DO NOT feed a stampede, or fall prey to gouging. If anything, the price should DROP. They may have to pump down a lot of LARGE containers into a lot of SMALLER containers for us, but the nic supply is there to feed us all, and many will NOT be diying, so there should be a SURPLUS of nic, if the hammer falls suddenly.

While I agree that the price of nic shouldn't go up, depending on regulations it may not be legal to have it shipped to you. Or may require some sort of license to purchase. That's more my concern.

With your indulgence let me tackle this issue. In some respects comparing our Wlad and HIC is unfair. It's one thing to create outstanding recipes using a small scale "semi" business model and or give the recipe away as HIC does and quite another thing to run a high volume premiere juice company as Wlad does. With this thought in mind, HIC is perhaps THE most talented quasi amateur mixolagist I have ever seen. His "notes" is the premier document ever written on the face of the planet for public consumption. Nearly every single detail is a goldmine of information if you wish to DIY. I've probably mixed about 20 of HIC's recipes and usually tweak and modify for my own preferences. I view them as a "gold starting point" and IMHO they are better than say 90% of the mediocre juices available in the marketplace. HIC is also very DA/AP aware and most of his mixes are primarily FA flavors.

I am obviously a huge fan of Wlad and although I'm not around much anymore your free to check my references. I don't need to tell "the choir" how incredibly talented I think Wlad is. Along with being a straight shooter and both he and A deserve mucho kudos. Even today I still vape some AHL mixes along with HIC's and I really see no need to compare the two. Why? You and others certainly have enough room in your taste bud locker for other juices and although I was skeptical at first, I'm a believer today. I love Apple! Period. SO TTA is one of my favs but so is a DIY mix which is essentially apple cookies with a bit of raspberry for that yummy trang.

Thanks! I got mine from MFS but I bought the plastic bottle. I'll use it to experiment a bit and buy a couple of glass liters to put in the freezer. I'll just put the bottles in the freezer. I've never even heard of the gas you're talking about. Lol

I'll be buying Ahlusion as long as I can. I just want to try one simple recipe to see if I can vape it or if I'll go the unflavored route. I know I'll have much better luck following a proven recipe instead of trying it on my own. I also don't want to buy a bunch of flavors and then find out I won't use them.

I've got the app with all of the notes. There is a lot of good info. If a simple recipe works then I'll try a more complicated one.

I think maybe he was talking about me wondering if I could vape any DIY after being so spoiled by Ahlusion. I did come across a recipe that uses 2 flavors! I think I'll try it first instead. Will be a bit more time before I do but not too much longer. I'll wait for the next sale before I buy a couple more liters of nicotine. I'll have to pick up a few pieces of equipment, too. I looked at getting the flavors but couldn't find the ones I wanted at one place. I need to make a list before I start buying.

After that I'll be buying some of his recipes. I think the way he's doing it is brilliant. The price is great and he's got a proven track record with a large following. I would never have found all of the info I needed without your help. I want to make sure I have all of the ones I want before we're banned from talking about it. Lol. (Just kidding).

Makes me wonder if it might be worth getting a Coravin for nicotine! That's pretty much what they do, as I understand it. It seems like a silly expense for wine, because if we pull an older bottle from the cellar, it's either great and we drink it, or it's terrible and we dump it, but maybe it's worth looking at for the vapocalypse.
