IF you want to go to the extreme extreme of buying large quantities of nic and dividing it into much smaller bottles for years of use:
$9 regulator:
1/4PT 0.15 MPA Thread 7mm Barb Argon Gas Flow Meter Welding Regulator

You can buy a 20CF cylinder for Argon at harbor freight for $80, sell it on Ebay when you are done for $70. Filling is available at any welding supply. Should run about $15 to fill an argon cylinder. You may be able to rent the 20cf cylinder at some welding supplies.

You can probably get pretty close by just buying a can of wine preservative too, filling your smaller empty bottles with the inert gas, pouring slowly and carefully into them, topping off with the gas and sealing tight.
Amazon.com | Private Preserve Wine Preservation Spray: Nitrogen Wine Preservation: Bar Tools & Glasses

And as Lisa mentions, the Coravin could be an acceptable solution for just keeping the nic in the large bottle, and "dispensing" it by using a coravin to force the nic out. Better use PG base though, cold VG from a freezer would need a LOT of pressure to move.

When the extreme happens I'm hoping to slowly cut down my nicotine until I'm at 0. I'll probably make sure I have 3 liters of 100mg nicotine in the freezer. Not even thinking about stopping vaping but I have stopped nicotine before for 6 months so I know I can do it again if I have to. Mainly I just want to be able to do it in my own time.

I stopped smoking before I started vaping. I used vaping to get off the lozenges and gum. I had stopped them all when there were just too many stressors that happened in a short amount of time. My daughter asked me if I wanted a cigarette and I said no, I wanted lozenges instead. So I know nothing will send me back to cigarettes.

I'm going to start making a few recipes with the nicotine I have and then I'll buy 3 more liters later on. I just hope it's a long time before we have to worry about it! I just can't imagine not having all of my Ahlusion flavors. I also plan on buying enough of my favorite flavors from Ahlusion to last at least a year. I'm going to switch to 3mg on my next order.

Guess what I got today! @GlacierBabe sent me a package and included a pink Kagertech Nano as a belated birthday present! I love it!! It even has a pink charging cable. :p :hubba:

I think I've come to the conclusion that if regulations come to be a PITA (and I can't get Ahlusion/afford Ahlusion) then I will probably try to stop vaping. I'm at 3mg now & have been for quite awhile. For the sake of my terrible breathing, it would probably be for the best anyways. :(

Does this mean our Ahlusion juice is safe? Or is it still possible or likely the SB 807 will pass? Is this the bill that would prevent Michigan juice makers to limit their sales to individuals and businesses located in Michigan?

Will you tell Wlad about this?

I'm guessing since it's an issue of taxation, and introduced by a Democrat, that the voting will most likely fall to partisan politics. Currently the makeup of the Michigan legislature is as follows:
Senate 27R, 11D
House 63R, 47D

Safe to say if it goes that way, the deck is somewhat stacked in our favor. I would still encourage every registered Michigan voter to contact their representative.

Oh, my. So many have wandered without return, and I often imagine them just too busy, or having moved beyond vaping. That is an outcome I never even consider. RIP Shatner. I remember when he accidentally shot his own dog. It seems that tragedy was not yet through with poor Shatner.

One of the reasons I express my love for you all, so often. I could only regret NOT doing so.

That's just horrible. I do the same as Louis. I never think the worst. I just imagine that people have moved on and gotten busy with other things.

Rest in peace, Shatner. You have and will be missed. :(

Sad to hear this. Like Bukket5, I wonder about some of those that don't post here anymore.
Last week was a rough one and a blessed one. I found out a high school friend passed away and my wife had a very close friend pass away too. On the plus side, my stepson and his wife are expecting. We found out they are having a boy. The baby is healthy... and his middle name will be the same as mine. This wasn't expected and is very humbling and life affirming. It's not everyday people name their kids after you.

So sad to hear this. [emoji22] So many from our old group no longer visit, and like everyone else, we just assume they have moved on.....always painful when you hear something like this.

I read this the other day on the NET thread but didn't know it was from an auto accident. He was a grand contributor there, too. He is dearly missed. Godspeed shatner. <3

awwww... CUTE PUPPY!!!!
Well, my gut feeling was that we better start thinking about having to make our own at some point in the future, maybe not so far, maybe darn near.

Sad to say, that my Hero and Idol, confirms this himself, on his own storefront webpage. Wlad is openly advising his customers, that you better think about learning to mix. Which says a LOT both about the current sitaution, as well as Wlad himself. In fact, it WAS Wlad who 3 years ago, suggested to me what he felt was the best possible source for the cleanest, most accurate nicotine. A 500ml purchased right then, and stored without opening, in the basement chest freezer, proves him correct. Upon opening 3 years later, it was as clean, pure, and smelled as fresh as the opened bottles I had been working with 3 years previously.

Wlad is my J.P. Morgan of vaping. When Wlad speaks, I'm listening.
JP Morgan of vaping..hehehe :p
Yes well I guess all this gear I've acquired will rust away cuz nobody will want a couple of used REO LP Grands, an old tube mod, and three VW devices with various toppers.
Cuz if Wlad is confirming this, then I guess I'll have to see what my friends in Minnesota are planning for. If TPR goes out the window as well, there's no need in this puppy to bury anymore bones.
I'll just drop to 3mg then 0 and quit.
Damn politicians!

The Nic I got was MyFreedomSmokes, but importantly, in the GLASS BOTTLES. It is more expensive, but the plastic WILL absorb air over that much time. A lot of DIY'ers swear by Nicotine River, but I don't have experience with them.

Nude Nicotine also makes bottles called "V2 Armour" that have a collapsable bladder in them. The idea is that you can withdraw your nicotine from the bottle with a hypo through the top resealable membrane, and the bladder prevents oxygen from displacing the nic, deteriorating your juice. IT IS UNPROVEN. Nobody has HAD a bottle of V2 Armour for that length of time yet.

God, I talk a lot. There IS a way to get nic REALLY cheap from MFS (Myfreedomsmokes) and make it convenient, and likely to last you darn near your lifetime. You would need argon gas, those little rubber corks with two holes like ya used in chemistry, some plastic tubing and glass pipettes. It would be OK to start with the CHEAP MFS nicotine in plastic. Just a few months ago, they had 200mg/ml for, if I remember right, about $30/Ltr. For those mechanically, scientifically inclined..

get glass 10 100ml bottles, or 17 60's. Stopper them with dual pipette stoppers. Run a piece of tubing from one to a jar of water (keeps air out) run another hose from the 2nd pipette. Squirt a lil argon in there to purge the O2 from tubes and bottle. Setup your 200mg nic (or 100) the same way. Rubber stopper, two pipettes, ONE of these MUST have glass or hose that runs all the way to the bottom of the nic, and 1 hose to hook to the argon. You can purge your nic when you put the cork in.

Sounds comlicated, but it's not. The point of the exercise is to slowly pump argon into the bignic bottle, to displace nictone from your supply into the small bottles, without letting oxygen mix into it. Once they are full, just top em up with a lil more argon, and seal.

Do NOT fear that sudden changes in the laws or rules will make nicotine shoot up in price. It will NOT. We are the SAME number of vapers using it, whether it is shipping to Cutwood, Ahlusion, or directly to us. DO NOT feed a stampede, or fall prey to gouging. If anything, the price should DROP. They may have to pump down a lot of LARGE containers into a lot of SMALLER containers for us, but the nic supply is there to feed us all, and many will NOT be diying, so there should be a SURPLUS of nic, if the hammer falls suddenly.
I used MFS nic as well in my failed adventure into DIY. Tasted like black pepper to me..lol
Oh well, you see why LLB, I won't be spending big dollars on supply's anymore for a SIRIUS line of juices. I'm not trying to be sarcastic or mean or anything though brother. I just plain suck at DIY.
That is awesome info bro.
