Mine is 100mg 100%PG since I vape 70% PG.



So many people recommend and use MFS so I'll stick with it. I do like the idea of getting the smaller glass bottles! Thank you for the info.

I'm wanting to try the Liter I have before I order more. I want to see how it tastes and if I can mix 2 flavors. Lol. I like a lot of light flavors so if the base is peppery at all it's going to ruin the flavor. But with all the good recommendations for MFS I'm not really worried about it. I'm more concerned about coming up with a pineapple and lemon flavor to replace my 2 favorite juices when it hits the fan. I'm really hoping to have enough notice to buy a dozen 60 mls of my top 5. I probably should double that for Pineapple Cream and Lemon Cream for it to last a year.



@EleanorR, I'd get at least 36mg so you can triple your money. VG and PG is cheap to buy and you'd just have to divide your nicotine by 3. LLB told me about the ejuicemeup software that makes it super easy to put in your recipe and it tells you exactly what amounts you need to make your juice. Plus 36mg is pretty safe to work with.

When I start trying to mix anything I'm going to make sure my husband is home to help and see what he can come up with to make sure that my nicotine is contained in a way that it can't spill. I'll start by filling a 30ml glass bottle with the nicotine and putting the liter away. My kitchen sink has a small and large side so I'm going to use it for mixing. It also has metal grates so I have a flat surface. That way any spill will be contained.

I thought about buying a lower amount of nicotine but if I did it wouldn't go very far and I'd need another freezer. After looking at the software I was able to see how easy it makes the whole process.

Buying your preferred mg and ratio would be a great way to try out the different brands and find out which one you like the best. You could even vape it unflavored to get a better comparison between them all.

In a perfect world I'd never vape anything except Ahlusion! One thing that is recommended once you have a recipe you like is mixing up the flavorings in bulk. Then you just have to add your PG/VG and nicotine.

I went shopping yesterday! Dave and I bought ourselves adjustable beds with 12" gel memory foam mattresses for our 28th anniversary. We went with the 2 twin XL beds so I won't disturb him while he's sleeping. They are heavy enough that they'll stay together. The base is super quiet so it won't wake him up. They'll be here Saturday! I made sure that it has a zero gravity button since I slept that way while I was in the hospital. It is so comfortable no matter what position you sleep in. Even managed to stop at Bed, Bath, and beyond to buy 2 twin XL sheets and an oversized King top sheet. Still need to find mattress pads but they didn't have what I wanted and I was worn out. Probably why my brain isn't working too well today but it was so worth it.

I only use safety glasses when I handle it. I get it on my hands, and no problem. Wipe it off with a wet dishtowel, and you're good. It's NOT that toxic, unless you are a pet or a small child.

Think about it. We carried, spilled and wore 24mg SO many times. I've driven 8 hours with it spilled in my lap, and nothing to do about it. Now if I spilled 100mg on my CLOTHES, where it could continue to soak in, absolutely. I would get them off QUICK, and wash myself off. But getting a little 100mg on your finger or whatever, is NOT going to send anyone into nicotine shock, if they calmly just wipe it off with a wet rag. Caution and paranoia are closely related, but they're not twins.

Oh, and the MFS? Recommended to ME, by someone that you and I BOTH know, knows, tests, and uses only the bestest.

I regularly, but not exclusively, vape unflavored. There can be a big difference is taste, throat hit between them.
So, IMHO before you buy enormous quantities to sock away, try small bottles and just vape them to see which you like or don't.

I'm guessing since it's an issue of taxation, and introduced by a Democrat, that the voting will most likely fall to partisan politics. Currently the makeup of the Michigan legislature is as follows:

Safe to say if it goes that way, the deck is somewhat stacked in our favor. I would still encourage every registered Michigan voter to contact their representative.

The bill only addresses cigalikes, or other ecigs sold with liquid. There is no mention in the wording of e-liquid at all as a standalone product. Unless it morphs into something else, it doesn't threaten Ahlusion at all.

What I get for not actually READING the bill. Wlad seemed plenty worried about it, based on the FB posts, so I just ... u me'd.

Still though, I think ultimately, it probably does. I'd bet the vast majority of Wlads customers STARTED on cig alikes. If they outlawed training wheels, might not be a lot of bike riders. So there is that. Plus, just like our blasted seat belt law. It was a non-primary offense, they PROMISED. Could NOT pull you over for not wearing one. Now, they sit in the turnarounds and watch cars go by on enforcement week. Chip chip chip chop.

BUT, Now I'm SURE it doesn't stand a chance. Sounds like the only one that is currently being threatened, is BT. Unless they figure they'll keep more smokers on cigs, than lose cig alike users to refillables, going to be some money spent in Lansing I'd guess.

Fair enough..but my post was in regards to vaping and voting. I could care less who's to the left or right. But unless we vote smart we are effectively putting the noose around our own necks. Both parties are to blame for this mess. Not just one of them. But that being said, this is the Lounge, there is no set rules as to what is "on topic" . if this was the old Ahlusion thread in the eliquids section, you would be spot on. But, discussions about politics as with religion leads to harsh words. So I'll refrain from either except to say, the last time I checked, opinions are likearseholes. Everybody's got one. Lol

It seemed part re vaping and part not. And I know that we're allowed to discuss anything in the lounge other than mind altering substances as long as we mind our language but then I couldn't hang out here any longer. And I like it here.

My twitter feed is becoming a mess and I don't follow a lot of people or have many followers. I'll be having a civilized political conversation with some of my fellow House-freaks, some of who agree with me and some who disagree, and complete strangers join in with posts full of vitriol about one candidate or another. If it were specifics such as "Your candidate said x, y & z which is why I hate him/her" I'd discuss it, but it's always "So-and-so is a lying, commie, evangelical, piece of something." No. That's why, within a vendor's section the CPM (cost per milliliter) goes up as the strength goes up -- you're getting more nicotine. An easy comparison to eyeball is between 50mg and 100mg. Since the 100mg is double the strength, when you dilute it you'll have nicotine for twice as many bottle but it doesn't cost twice as much.

The two ways I can think to do it are prorate the different strengths so you're comparing like to like -- and I'm too rusty to trust my ability to get the formulas right -- or do it by the desired end strength -- this will make 240 30ml bottles at 6mg, etc. The problem there is that everyone vapes different strengths. (If you do that, you're probably best off going with 30ml or a liter of flavored juice as the table is already down to hundredths of a penny.)

I think we're going to see more of this type of thing as more fly-by-night companies get into the industry. They'll use any crap battery they can get cheap (just like the "hover board" manufacturers do) and some will do this.

With the locking function and all the overload protection good devices have these days, I would be shocked if it happened to the devices we use.

My local news did a story about the pocket explosion incident. One thing I liked was at the end of the story, they said out of the millions of ecig in use, in 2014, there were only 25 recorded incidents of battery explosions. I liked that they put it in perspective. I wonder how many fires were caused by cigarettes in 2014?

That's the moral of this latest story. In this case the bat shorted with perhaps keys or loose change. Or it also could have been a mechanical that fired, all of which lack an auto shut off after x number of seconds. Even forgetting to properly lock a mech could contribute. Though more than likely the user would have felt the heat of the tube before it vented.

Yep, exactly what I thought. No mod, he had a loose batt in that pocket. I did it once myself, long ago. Stuck my hand in my pocket, felt it instantly go warm, and flung that sucker. Didn't vent, but the shrink wrap had a couple melty spots. Did it once more, putting one in a metal job book. Same thing, got hot, dumped it, no vent. Both were AW IMR's. I think that says a lot for AW, and not much for me.. Then I bought a bunch of those little ballistic nylon zipper cases with the snap hooks and that was the end of my stooopid days.

My purse always has a pocket that's just for vaping stuff. And I check that I turned the battery off before I put it there.

I'm amazed how little info is out there on li-ion batteries. My sister, who reads warning labels, had no idea that you shouldn't leave a cell phone or a laptop/tablet in the car. I don't have a car and I knew that.

So back to Ahl juices shall we? I feel this has turned into a DIY thread the last few visits, and this is the only place I come to on ECF anymore.
So some new ones I've recently tried are Tiramisu,..(very tasty) and Banana Cream Pie, that I think is way better than Banana's Foster. Raspberry White Tea isn't bad, but it was sent to me and well steeped. Let's face it. I'm just not a tea vaper. Masala Chai doesn't even taste like a tea and I love it. Hopefully, unless you all abandon ship for DIY, we can discuss new to us Ahlusion juices good and bad. Saturday Morning is such a long steeper thatxI fear it will taste like melted GI Joe until this time next year.

We constantly have house fires from people smoking on a balcony and putting their cigarettes out in a flower pot. Every spring they start playing public service announcements on tv.

Saturday Morning only takes a week or 2 for me. I love Fruit Loops!

I picked up enough cartos on sale to last a year or two and I'm enjoying a lot of old favorites. There's flavors that will always taste the best to me in a carto tank. Like Ahlusion Chai Latte and Ahlusion Mocha.

Poeia-thank you for your help with adding CA. I am pretty sure I am going with 100mg in 125 size and getting four.
From what I have read 100mg is safe to handle (really just10mg diluted) and I am acquainted with ejuicemeup.
As far as flavorings, I am going to jump on HIC bandwagon and try some FA mixes. I have tons of TFA but every time I tried my hand at DIY I ended up with BUT stuff. I did the 'elimination' thing, tried to vape just the vg, then pg, then added nic, once I added some TFA WHELP there it is, the BUT (bad unidentified taste) so it might be that some of my TFA is in plastic bottles.
disclaimer: BUT is something I taste but not everyone does. possibly an intolerance for something I have yet to determine what it is but I taste it in many mass marketed juice's.
