I went to the surgeon this morning to get the results of my sentinel lymph node biopsy! Negative! Nope! I'm Stage One. What a relief. I've been worried about this for days.

That is one nice hairdo, Bukket! Since there's a wig shop in my neighborhood I went there. I agree, many of the wigs are just too much! I tried on one that was similar to my "glamorous" frizz-fest, but it looked like I had a dead animal on my head. I finally found one that's similar to mine when I straighten it...when I actually need it the woman in the shop said she would trim and style it for me. It's very light and I look forward to my new look.

+1 on the ice water. We buy Smart Water by the case, for the electrolytes. Yesterday was that day; I'm on liter #2, this morning. I also want "bright" flavors to vape, after chemo, rather than the creamy custards and cinnamons I typically prefer. Pineapple Cream (sweetened, with breeze) should arrive this afternoon :).
I'm loving my Limelight today!

Hey Ya'll. chanelvapes just gave me this link cause I was wondering if anyone knew if Ahlusion's "Menthol Ward" is a "Tank Cracker" type juice, being Menthol. I have Acrylic tanks for my Taifun GT-T V2 and don't want to mess it up. I can't find a list anywhere of known "Tank Crackers", so that's why I am asking.

Edit: I don't even know if Menthol is a "Tank Cracker" or not, I'm Clueless on the subject, I usually mix Unflavored EXC 10mg/ml with 2% FA Flash added and have been doing fine in Acrylic Tanks.

Ahlusion juices don't crack tanks.

Thanks, LLB! We got back home last night after an excellent trip. We stayed in more of a boutique hotel than a resort, but it certainly was gorgeous! I'm going to try to post a pic or two...

Seems to have worked! The image above is from our balcony on the first day we got there--It was super busy on the beach because it was the Friday before Easter. It got a lot calmer and quieter over the week. Below is a picture looking up from the pool at the hotel. It's built into a cliff, and I don't think there are more than 30 rooms. Our balcony was the center one on the top floor.

Hopefully, everyone can see them, because I copied them from FB posts I made while there. If not, let me know, and I'll upload them to photobucket and try again.

That looks so gorgeous! I imagine that you had a great time! I know I'd love it there. :p

Since we are posting pictures of our vacation. I am currently at the Red Rock Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Here's a picture from my hotel room:

Oh! Another great vacation! You guys are making me want to take a vacation. :)

Yes. I've been wanting to try the Limelight.

I've got a sample of Limelight waiting for an empty tank. It smells delicious!

************
Thankyou!!! Great tips! I'm going to heat up my zero nic juice first. I prefer the 0 normally but could never get it in XPress flavors. I just hope they launch the elite line soon and it includes my flavor. I go through about 90 mls of the stuff per week! I vape a lot:)

Sounds like me with Pineapple Cream and Pina Colada, sweetened. I order both in 60 mls and at least 2 at a time. Luckily I prefer it unsteeped and keep it sealed in the fridge until ready to vape. The same with my Lemon Cream. Mango Lassi is the only staple that I have to steep but it only takes 2 weeks for my 30VG. All of my flavors are 70PG/30VG so they steep faster.

I've emailed Ahlusion and requested that the "Best Flavor" option for Pineapple Cream be sweetened. I hope they listen! But I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle the Elite Line since they are presteeped. I'll stick with custom flavors as long as they're available. I just know there'll come a time when it won't be an option anymore.

I got a big order from AHL today. I am very excited to taste for the first time Shipwreck, Moonlight Serenade, Oasis, Zing and Coconut Dream. I also reordered Mango Lassi, Cocoberry Cream and Lychee Coconut Smoothie. I'm planning to taste them all as soon as I have an empty tank and then I'll know which ones need to steep. I love my AHL!!

Moonlight Serenade is terrific! I just put the last of my sample in a tank and it's one that I need to order! I love Oasis, too! I don't find it muted at all. It's very flavorful and so delicious. :p

I didn't care for Zing. Lemon Cream is my 2nd favorite. Mango Lassi is another staple flavor for me. I used to vape a lot of Coconut Dream and CocoBerry Cream until so many new flavors took over. I think it's time to revisit them. I also enjoyed my sample of Shipwreck even though I don't vape tobacco often.

My other must haves are Peaches and Cream and Caramel Pear White Tea.

I'm so glad you caught it early. I'll be sending lots of healing vibes.

It's best to start with a local shop so you have someone to teach you about wigs. I got my first 2 that way. I wore them for a couple of years but now my hair is really long and I just put it in a ponytail. Before I went on thyroid medication I lost half of my hair.

Thank you. What I love about Paula Young is that you just take it out of the box, shake it out, and wear it. No styling needed. I've been thinking about getting my hair cut short so I can wear my wigs again.

This is the very best news I've heard, today! I know you said you aren't a praying person, but I am; we all have our own way. So, I'm considering this an answer to prayer!
:banana::banana::banana:

Prolly seems extreme to have dancing bananas for this, but I know what that wait is like. It's a huge cause for celebration :)

Thank the Lords of Ahlusion! LVC vape mail! Yay! Btw- I started heat steeping, careful to stay below 140 degrees. After 3 rounds of heat exposure,in a relatively short amount of time, the juice is already starting to turn a slight shade darker! The unheated is totally clear! LVC XPress is a "dirty" lemon color. I have achieved a faint yellow color so far. I'm going to keep at this, store 3 bottles away for storage steeping, and do some seed steeping with the magic Michigan juice I have coming from Hero Jedi LouisLeBeau. I have 4 other lemon and lime creams en route. Stockpile and steep time!

I've been reading your posts and admire your attitude and courage. Colon cancer has claimed a lot of lives in my family and I'm about to go in for testing. Finally. My dad beat it and regardless of the results, I will stay positive. It runs on both sides of my family. I've been avoiding testing for quite a while. After reading your posts, I made a call for my pre op appt.. Thanks for sharing your experience..it had a big impact on me. I'm sorry you had such a traumatic experience but your reaction to your situation was inspiring to me. So thank you!!! No more fear. PS- You'll rock that wig:)

Have you tried Harmless Harvest Coconut Water? So healthy, lots of electrolytes and amazing flavor. There are other decent coconut waters out there but I swear by the health benefits of Harmless Harvest. The best bottles have pink juice. They claim color does not affect flavor. I swear the pink has more flavor! It's either pink or clear. I drink plenty of plain old filtered water also. Original

Thank you, Jessa! The ironic thing is that I'm here because I avoided LUNG cancer. My grandfather died of it at age 57. His daughter, my mom, has emphysema.
I'm so happy that you're going to look into the colonoscopy. We're very lucky that we have diagnostic tests and treatments today that can help to keep us safe. And thank you SO much for making me feel like I helped you with a tough decision.
Now where was that Tang?

Hi Penny, I have a disabled boy, a very energetic 7 year old and a demanding business. I have used being busy as an excuse to avoid testing for years. After watching it claim 3 people in my family, one recently, it's time to stop wimping out. How bad can a test be right??
Lol, you SO lost me on the TANG.

Aww... any one of us would do it for ya, we're FAMILY here! hahaha... NICE selection! Oh, I sniffed the LVC before I sent it out this AM... Totally ready for prime time! Looked relatively clear still, but the room filled with the aroma when I took the cap off.. omg.

Oh hell! I would RUN back and get that test! They gave me the SWEETEST lil cocktail before it, and next thing I knew, I was waking up feeling GREAT. ALL there was to it. Dirty scoundrels told me I was perfectly clear, so TEN YEARS before I could take that lovely nap again. Dogs! I'm counting the days! :)

AND, now I'm going to bore you to tears. I've been collecting, storing, and drinking fine wines for over 30 years. The parallels between wine, and juice, are many. (phenolics, flavonoids, etc.) A lot of things are simultaneously going on in those bottles. In the case of wine AND nicotine and the flavorings in Ejuice, oxygen destroys it. You absolutely want to prevent exposure to it as much as possible, to get the BEST results. Same goes for heat, and for sunlight (UV).

You WILL simulate aging with the heat bath, and exposing it to air frequently, but, MOSTLY the NEGATIVE aspects of aging. In a bottle of wine, it is simultaneously improving, and dying, with time. The cooler it is, and the less light and oxygen it is exposed to, the SLOWER the DECAYING part of the process occurs, while the harmonizing and melding of the phenolics, are still occuring.

So, if my experience is worth a dime, you will get SOME of the same results out of the LVC with what you are doing, but it isn't going to be what you will REALLY get from letting it mature gracefully, slowly.

My advice, especially since you seem to have a VERY discerning palate, is to order more, now. I'd crack one open, close it, and put it in a cupboard that doesn't get TOO warm. Should be great when your current inventory is gone. I'd put a few somewhere COOL, like a basement, and I'd put a few somewhere cold, like the back of your fridge, near the top where it isn't the coldest. When you take the one from the cupboard, move one from the basement to the cupboard, and one from the fridge to the basement, and replace the one from the fridge. Keep doing that, and in 6 months, you will be in eternal heaven ever after. :) hahaha...

Edit: Oh yeah, and a friend who is a MASTER Diy'er, observed the same thing. BAKERY flavors (which LVC is one of) don't suffer as badly as delicate fruit flavors ( like dragonfruit, or passion fruit) without bakery. But he attempted to speed steep a delicate fruit batch, and it absolutely destroyed the flavor. So, second data point.. The cake flavor will hide much of the damage to the more delicate fruit flavors, but with your palate, you might find it.. less than optimal.

It's the HUGE bottle of prep fluid I fear! I tried once before, many years ago, and had an allergic reaction. But they say they have pills now too. I can do pills. So yes. Next week I go in for my consult. Weeeee! It will be a relief. And my family will stop hounding me. Win, win. Thanks!
