Happy New Week, everyone!
Reporting from the Chemo Front, one week in: They were right, your tastebuds do get totally messed up (because chemo targets rapidly-growing cells)!Right now almost nothing tastes good (foodwise), and the funny thing with vaping is that my juices taste TOO flavory. I'm known for normally having the opposite problem, and this is weird poetic justice. Outside of plain minty flavors, I seem to be tolerating Strawberry Snap the best, followed by LimeLight.
Outside of my digestive system (do NOT ask LOL), I'm not doing too badly.

At least with AHL as a vendor, you've got a bunch of choices for subtle juice. Hope you find some that you can enjoy. I love the minty juices too and Strawberry Snap is very good as well!

Oh boy! I'm not very fond of menthol anything, but I finally ordered a 30ml bottle of Pineapple Cream (sweetened) with Breeze. I mixed this in a 1:2 ratio with Pineapple Cream (sweetened), to get a very lightly "breezed" flavor. There's just the tiniest sensation of frozen slush in the background -- enough to turn this amazing juice into a perfect sum-sum-summertime treat! Or, evidently, a springtime treat, because I can't seem to put it down :).

Cool! I haven't tried the Pineapple Cream yet, but I want to try it. I love adding a little koolada to most of my fruit juices. Sometimes I prefer to add it myself rather than selecting the breeze option at AHL, because then I can tailor it exactly the way I like it.

You could add a little PG or VG to cut the flavor strength. If so, you should isolate a small amount to dilute since you never know when your taste buds are going to switch back.

I feel the same way. After adding a little breeze to the mixture it became something addicting for me. I guess since its heating up I'm beginning to crave some light citrus type juice. Pineapple Cream definitely fits the bill.

*blush* My tank holds 3 mls. It's empty.

I just ordered another 120 mls of sweetened and 60 mls of sweetened with breeze.

Just a brief note to let you all know (since this is the only thread on which I post here):
I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I had my first (neoadjuvant, meaning before surgery) chemo yesterday. I'm feeling good so far, thanks to some very expensive anti-nausea meds. I am not a religious person, so all I could want from you guys would be jokes and/or silly cat videos.

I was unable to find any date about vaping during this time, just the usual advice on ways to quit smoking...and hey! it isn't lung cancer! So I'm planning on continuing with it (like I could just lose that addiction, anyway); at this time of stress, I really need it.
I also bought a really nice wig, so don't be surprised when you see my new avatar --it's straight hair! Also having fun making some hats and scarves.

Hi, PennyLynn. So sorry to hear about your breast cancer diag. I have to have a biopsy for this too, on Friday. My surgeon tells me that the treatments and success rates have improved greatly in recent years. I am sending you happy thoughts and vibes............ Did you feel them? Hugs.

Well, after chatting with the Jedi I got off my lazy .... and built some coils. Basic, but fair. I'm using my Twisted Messes and so far, so good. My coil building attempt went better than I thought. Oddly, the crisp melon seems to stand out best on these coils! Still love my LVC, but I couldn't taste it fully. I just need to improve my wraps!

Wishing you the best Penny

I wish you the best with your biopsy. And I hope everyone knows how important it is to keep up with these things.

Great idea, one I had myself, but didn't move on...until now! Thanks so much. I will be mixing up tanks that are half-and-half, and that should really help.

You will be cutting the nicotine strength at the same time so you'll either end up vaping more to get enough or find you can order weaker liquid when this is done. :)

Prayers still going out your way, Penny! Also for you Shari!

Hi Jessa! WOOT! Coils are EASY, glad you are having luck with the wrapping. Flavor for me, tends to be very air-flow dependent. If I really make sure my wicking isn't restricting air flow to ANY part of the coil, flavor tends to improve dramatically. Is the T.M. side feed air flow holes? If it is, it's like the Petri. Imagine the air coming in those holes, and curving up towards the drip tip. You want your coil height smack in the middle of that curve, so equal air hits the top and bottom of the coil. Typically, bottom of the coil at the top of the air hole, depending on how close it is to the posts or walls. Those two things can really make a big dif in flavor.

Not sure if you are using cotton or rayon. Cotton wants to slip-fit in the coils. Keep the tails out from underneath except on the floor of your deck. Rayon I PACK in the coil, but taper the thickness of the legs towards the deck for good air flow. If you chain vape, and never get a dry hit, you can cut down on the thickness of your wicking to improve air flow.

Finicky lil buggers, but SO important with Ahlusions more subtle flavor profiles.

Anyone else chomping at the bit to try the Elite line? I'm sitting on my hands here... well, except to type.. :)
