Look at you, Gurl!! I LOVE IT!!! You look really good in that 'do! Is it easy to put on and remove? Is it a pain to deal with for showering? I think you look DARLING in it!

Not a problem -- I just use an umbrella!

Seriously, I don't think I'm going to wear it every waking moment..I have a bunch of cozy scarf-hats for hanging around. It's just the two of us and my husband is fairly inured to seeing me without my "glamour" set at 11. But thanks, it's pretty comfortable and it's a style I've actually had in the past. In contrast to my Orphan Annie mop, this thing is fun to flip around! i might just keep it going for a long while.

I just tried Godfather for the first time. It's only a week old, so I recognize that it may change quite a bit.
But, that said, I have no idea what I'm vaping. It's clearly tobacco like to some extent, but beyond that I'm stumped.
How would those of you who like it, and I know there are many who fit that bill, describe it when it's mature?

Do any of you use high power/subohm devices with Ahl liquids? I'm curious about whether the two make sense together. I've always been a dripper/squonker, but have often been frustrated by inconsistent results (vanishing flavor, mouthfuls of liquid, etc). I finally gave in to my curiosity and got myself a 75 watt mod and a subohm tank with the option of an RDA deck, and now I'm facing the prospect of having to buy mass quantities of my favorite Ahlusion in a lower nic (I'm at 12 now - way too high for the kind of clouds this setup yields).

I bought a 3mg bottle of some other stuff at the local vape lounge, and that vapes nicely, but IT'S NOT ALUSION. :) I put some 12mg Saturday Morning in there and unless I open all the airflow wide, and crank the power down, I get an atomic throat hit (duh).
I guess I'm just wondering if I should even go any further down this road. I've made out this far on only 5 or 6 mls a day. But if I'm putting 50 watts into a .2 ohm atty, it's going to be closer to 25 or 30! And since I'm a loyal Ahlusionati, I don't really know how prices compare.

The highest I go is 13W on a .75 ohm coil. I'm sure we have sub ohmers here. I have 3 Kanger Subox tanks. Regular, mini, and Nano. I vape 70 PG and I've gotten really good flavor with the .5 ohm coil and higher wattage. Lemon Cream is the only flavor that I've had to lower the wattage. Rick's Request tastes awesome in the Subox. But I'm a tootle puffer so I bought the 1.5 ohm coils. Even 30 VG would be too much if I tried to chase clouds.

Poeia, when I did jury duty I just sneaked into the stairwell on breaks. Nobody there and lots of space for diffusing the vapor. This was Florida, but I also did my duty back at the Nassau County Court, too.
In other news, check out my "new" 'do!

@PennyLynn, I love it! It looks great and you can't even tell you're wearing a wig!! :thumb:

Thanks, bukket5. It's pretty comfortable, too. most of the ones I tried on sort of "perched" on top of my head and just looked too overwhelming...this one cost a little more, but feels and looks more natural. It has the lace front (so the hairline is really natural-looking) and a lace cap (so it's light and feels smooth).
When it's not on my head, it's sitting on a stand on the cutting table in my sewing room (with a plastic bag covering it). I'm wondering how long it will take Missy the Cat to realize there's a fun new toy hidden under there.

Yeah! I don't think that would work for me either.

Glad to hear you like the Kiwi Sea too.

I had been wanting to order the Coconut Dream for a while and finally got some in my last order. I liked it right away, vaped one small tank and put it away for steeping, making sure to open it for no more than 10 minutes every day or two. The last time I did that, I was charging my cell phone and got careless with the cord. It knocked over the bottle and pretty much emptied it!! So the next AHL order will also include a bottle of Coconut Dream, which will be fiercely protected from all cords!
Ugh! I have SO done that! But more often than not, I get a glass bottle where the cap seal comes loose and I end up with a very messy vape bag. I killed a mod that way, having it soak in juice overnight in my vape bag. Is it just me, or do the glass bottles have issues at times? It seems like they either screw on rock solid or the threading gets messed up and the top pops off!....or gets loose enough for full flood leakage. I try to screw them on straight! (TRY). My fault probably.

I swear, the plastic bottles with the built-in dripper prevent leakage better than do the nice glass bottles. Before I started vaping the good stuff in glass, I used to squeeze the bottles, to allow fresh air in, recap and put a bunch of plastic bottles into a cardboard box at the same time, and shake the tar out of them. That was the very best & fastest way to do the daily shake when steeping. I tried to do it with AHL, making sure to add other juices with plastic bottles to the box, with no other glass, and I lost so much AHL juice that way. Even though the caps wouldn't come off completely, the shaking loosened the caps just enough that juice leaked with my vigorous shaking. I swore off that method for AHL and other glass bottle juices as there's too much loss!

I have a question for everyone, since so many of us here like to take a few juice choices when vaping outside of the house. I don't like to take more than one glass bottle with me because I'm afraid they'll break while I'm out. I usually put them in unicorn bottles. What's your favorite method for packing juice choices for on the go vaping?

I use the 10ml Ahlusion bottles for out and about. I feel like they are pretty stable and do not leak

I find glass bottles with eye droppers take 2 hands to manipulate. If you're out and about, you need to have a table to put the tank or the bottle on. Also, no matter where I am, I have trouble with the dropper -- some juice leaks as I carry it from bottle to tank and, if the tank has narrow fill slots, I always have some flooding that has to be mopped up.

My solution is to use my old DeejStuff bottles for any flavors I'm currently using. They have the best drip-tip I ever found -- long and narrow and easy to direct every drop. I prefer the 15ml ones for portability but I don't have many of those so I'll have some 30ml at some point.

That's a good method. Thank you. I'm running out of empty unicorn bottles, so I need to either buy more of them or recycle some. I just emptied a 30 ml plastic bottle of koolada and I think it would be good to use.

Very well described. And funnily enough, between last night when i posted my question and this afternoon when I finished off the tank, it has changed already. I still can't put my finger on the flavors, but it's growing on me fast.

So, my 60th birthday was Sunday and on Monday I found out I have breast cancer. Not exactly the birthday present I was hoping for. Spent the week going back and forth between dr appts and crying and feeling sorry for myself. Still searching for that great attitude and not there yet. Thankfully, it is stage 0, not spread and they are going to do surgery and then radiation. Going to a Genetic Counselor to see if I have the gene so I can decide if they do lumpectomy or take the boob. So much info to absorb, my head is spinning.

Thank you all for your thoughts and good wishes. I do appreciate it. This is the first time I have felt able to get on here and talk about it. I should be feeling very grateful it was caught so early but I am still feeling sorry for myself. Sigh... I will get there.

I'm so sorry, ShariR. You're entitled to feel whatever you feel; it's an emotional roller coaster. Healing thoughts and prayers are headed your way.
