Ahhh... I think I'm going to have to send one of those emails. When I first re-logged in to the new site, I had a gold discount, but it disappeared. I ordered anyway (40% off, who can complain about that?). But I do want that status back. For anyone who has been ordering for a year or more, this might be a good time to ask about becoming a Gold member, since they are having to re-up so many of us.

My gold status seems to have evaporated once again. I have an order waiting in my cart and my 30 ml. bottles are $12.00. Suppose I should email them once again...but, I hate to be a bother.

I wouldn't worry about being a bother. The new site still has bugs. I had to reach out to Wlad three separate times to fix my pricing & status. He'd fix it, but then my pricing would default to higher pricing than general public pricing.

So, I did the contact us thing on the Ahlusion website today. Got my gold member status reinstated, so I promptly placed an order for four 30 ml. bottles. I feel a little guilty since I hadn't ordered in the last two months. I still have many bottles of Ahlusion here that are still full though. I am scared that the vaping regulations coming may shut down internet sales, so I want to order while I still can!

I hope we'll see a good Memorial Day sale this week. Time for me to stock up again...

OT, for @PennyLynn and @ShariR :

I keep hearing this ad on the radio for a service which offers free maid service to women who are undergoing treatment for cancer. They operate all over North America.

I thought you guys might be interested in checking it out: HOME - Cleaning for a Reason
EleanorR, what a wonderful find! I am most surely going to check this out and if they provide their services in my area I will forward the info to my hospital's Breast Cancer Center.

My best find in Nashville is Gilda's Club, named for Gilda Radnor (of Saturday Night Live and Gene Wilder's wife). They are a nationwide support group that provides many types of support for people with all manner of cancer and their families. They also have groups for children with cancer. www.gildasclubnashville.org
I am sure they could direct you to a national website, if there is one. They have technical support groups/seminars, art classes, yoga, journaling, cooking, oh, all sorts of activities. Run by medical/counseling professionals. Non-profit. Check them out.

Just back from the oral surgeon (wisdom tooth.) Part of the instructions were "no xxx or smoking for the first 24 hours." I asked if that included vaping. He thought for a second and said "probably." I told him I didn't know if that were possible.

When I read the sheet, it was no using a straw or smoking so they mean "avoid sucking." It turns out vaping is possible if you put it between your cheek and you teeth on one side, push the button and, just before releasing, twitch that cheek just a bit. There's absolutely no pressure on the other side of the mouth. (Even so, I'll try to keep my vaping to a minimum until this time tomorrow.) ;)

Oh, Ouch! I hope it heals up quick. The no sucking is to avoid breaking loose the little bloodclot that seals it up for healing. If it breaks free you need to call him immediately because it bleeds profusely. No waiting till next day. I think they call it dry socket, but that does not make sense from what I described about the bleeding. But years ago it happened to my ex and we had to get him in to the oral surgeon that night.

If you have not tried Kiwi Sea you should. I have blown through a 30ml in three days. I CANNOT GET ENOUGH. Thanks JW

I agree. Kiwi Sea is awesome! I've been trying to tell all of you people about it for years, and finally JW listened and is sharing the word!

Thanks but I'm good. It's been 4 days with no complications. I didn't expect any. I wouldn't have even posted about it if weren't for the "no sucking" thing. :)

And getting to a hospital is never a problem. When I was an administrator at Bellevue, we referred to First Avenue between 14th and 34th Streets as "Bed Pan Alley." It's one mile long and has Beth Israel (which is now part of Mount Sinai), The Manhattan VA, Bellevue, and NYU Medical Center/Tisch/Langone. Four major teaching hospitals in one mile (plus the Medical Examiner's, NYU Medical School, NYU Dental School, Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing.) And I live around the corner.

Kiwi Sea? Hmm. Never tried it.

I need y'all's advice. I'm trying to slowly streamline my juice selection, mostly out of fear of the doomsday, and my two ADVs, Pear and Peach White Teas have been discontinued (apparently, I was the only person buying them ). I liked them because they were subtle, light colored, and didn't change much as they steeped. The CPWT is good, but a touch too sweet for me--I used to mix it with the plain pear tea. The Raspberry WT is also too sweet.

So what would you recommend for someone who doesn't want anything too sweet, to dark, or too aggressively flavored? I love Lemon and Lime Cream, but I like them fresh--not so much when they have steeped. Same with other creams, coffees, tobaccos, etc. Is there anything in the Ahlusion lineup that resembles my beloved white teas?

Mango Lassi maybe? Good clean tasting, not too strong
one of the ones I have that seems to never change color is Wild Passion but I would not call it subtle .

You're killing me. I won't be able to visit my family in New York this year, thanks to my little adventure with rogue cell growth. My sister lives on the UWS and that's where I stay when I'm there. Both my daughters are nearby, too.
But NEXT year I'll be there to see Bette on Broadway in Hello Dolly for sure!
Glad to hear you're having an uneventful recovery. My younger just had all four wisdom teeth removed and also, uneventful.

I'm sad about the Peach White Tea, too :(.

I don't have a good alternate for you, but have you tried the Boba teas? They are fairly mild, and stay light, too.

Thanks, I liked Mango Lassi; only had a 10 ml bottle, and it went quickly. :)

My Bobas turned rather dark and syrupy after a while, so I stopped buying them. I enjoyed them, But not an ADV for me.

I was never a big flavor person, and now I really prefer light, almost clear eliquids. I even vape unflavored, on occasion, but I can't do it all the time.

Thank you both for your replies. :)

AIV has good teas, light on the flavoring, but not-so-light on the pocketbook. Not too bad if you order in 120 ml "packs" (2x 60ml), but still not cheap so you have to know what you want. Think the 120 ml option is recent.

The way things are going with the FFDA I'll have to order 120 ml of "A Quiet Morning" (with extra flavor) just to have it one last time before it disappears forever. :( Haven't ordered from AIV for almost a year now - since I found Ahlusion.

Hopefully Ahlusion survives this ridiculous situation.

AIV has good teas,

I got a sample pack from them when they first appeared on the scene. What I got tasted/smelled a bit flowery/perfumey to me. But that was a long time ago... I don't remember exactly what I ordered, there was a tea flavor in the pack for sure, but I remember their packaging--very fancy it was.

The whole thing is just so sad. I hate FDA.

Oh boy, yes, Kiwi Sea would definitely be in your wheelhouse! Jump and Jive is another you might like, I don't find it to be strongly flavored at ALL. Luna Fortuna is another that I adore, that sounds like it fits your description well. Oasis, Watermelon and Strawberry Jubelance and Wild Passion are more flavors that you might really like!

If you want to live a lil on the "wild side", I would recommend getting a white tea flavoring from someplace like Bull City Vapors, mixing it at 6-10% with your preferred VG/PG base, add the nic level you like, and then do a 50/50 mix with any of these flavors for a subtle fruit/white tea mixture. YOU CAN DO IT, COCO!!
