My fault! I apologize for the small rant.
Now back to your regularly scheduled Ahlusion Fest.

I add that it's the last week of my current chemo cycle (4th of 6) and my digestion is fairly good. I made swordfish and veggies last night with olive oil, lemon juice, tarragon and GARLIC...and loved it. Tonight, I'm going to attempt pasta with marinara and Italian-style chicken sausage...and I may spring for some cheesecake at Publix. Ohhh yeah. I'll be back to chicken broth next week, but for now, I am going to live it up.

Have any of you tried mixing Coconut Dream with other flavors? I'm going to order some and was curious if anyone had any other flavor suggestions? Today I'm vaping Lime Cream mixed with Limelight and a drop of Crisp Melon. My at death's door Evic Mini has my DV Lemon Vanilla Cake. I vaped unflavored for half a day and that seemed to help cleanse my picky pallet.
Does anyone have a good recommendation on where to buy an authentic Evic Mini online? My local vape store have sold me two defective mods at crazy prices. The 3 day warranty doesn't do squat. I like supporting local small businesses but I'm sick of paying these crazy prices. Especially when the vape gear goes bad on me!

Why is the Evic Mini "at death's door"? Curious why you'd buy another after going through two bad ones.

Bought mine here:

Would love to find a refreshing, fruity vape for summer to contrast my ADV, Caramel Wildwood. Luna Fortuna is the closest I've found. I have a sample of Oasis coming with my next order. Any suggestions?

I adore Autumn Mist, a juicy pear/apple combo. :) Only word of caution: it doesn't like low ohms/high heat too much!

Here's a list of all the Ahlusion flavors I've tried (I'm sure I've forgotten a couple):

My Ahlusion Favorites:

Caramel Wildwood (My ADV)
Lemon Cream
Lemon Vanilla Cake
Pineapple Cream
Pineapple USD Cake
Luna Fortuna
Lime Cream
Maple Dream (Past favorite)

Nice, but no reorder:

Berry Potter
Blueberry Vanilla Cake
Vanilla Wildwood
Cherry Wildwood
Maple Wildwood
Car-Mal Mambo (Great caramel, but a thick, coil gunker.)
Smooth Criminal
Peaches and Cream
Contrary Cherry
Coco-berry Cream
Jump N Jive (Nice flavor- too much lime for me.)
Lemon Berry Kiss
Raspberry Cream
Raspberry Sunset
Star Dust (This is a nice blueberry vape.)
The Ron Effect (Nice Pomegranate.)

Not So Much:

Alton (Tastes like orange peel- maybe better sweetened.)
Bananas Foster (Bananas too green, even after steeping.)
Caramel Pear Black Tea (Just don't think I'm a tea vaper.)
Fort Custard (The custard flavor gives me the "oogies".)
Pineapple Brulee (Same nasty custard as above.)
Orange Creamsicle (Pales in comparison to the other creams. Wish it really tasted like a creamsicle, but tastes more of orange peel.)
Sweet Cherry Something (More like Sweet Cherry Nothing- very subtle.)
Taste Tatin Peach (I think my sample was unsweetened- might like it sweeter.)
Melon-Berry Frost

Yucky-yuck:

Cantal Berry Ice (After-kick reminiscent of cilantro, which I loathe!)
Rick's Request (Nasty. Couldn't vape it.)

Would love to find a refreshing, fruity vape for summer to contrast my ADV, Caramel Wildwood. Luna Fortuna is the closest I've found. I have a sample of Oasis coming with my next order. Any suggestions?
KIWI SEA, KIWI SEA, KIWI SEA, just cannot stop vaping it. Thanks JW (and Lisa)

Why is the Evic Mini "at death's door"? Curious why you'd buy another after going through two bad ones.

Bought mine here:

No, my first bad mod was an Istick 50 and now the Evic would be fine but the magnets on the door came out and it drains batteties quickly. I have a you friends with the same mod, and none of them have had issues. I think I just had bad luck with this normally well performing mod. I will never buy another I stick. I've gone through three, and the threading went out on two of them and the other one just died on me after a few months. My Segelie 150 is my Best performing device. But I don't want to pay that much for a back up mod.?I know that the Evics are cheap online, but at the vapor store they were marked up to something like $80!

Thanks for the link. Only one of the mods I bought locally that went bad on me were the Evic Mini. The first was an Istick 50... I also had an IPV2 with bad threads. Two of the batteries in the Evic door popped out after a short time. And it drains new batteries very quickly. Other than that, I love the size and power output. I actually prefer it to my Sigelie 150 due it's comfortable size. But changing the batteries and taping it shut... it's a huge pain. I know lots of people who have the same mod who never had any problems. I think I just got unlucky. They're cheap enough online to chance it again.

sorry, I didn't think my other reply posted! I seem to have issues with threading often. I wonder if I screw my tanks in too tightly...it's happened so many times to me now. On the I sticks the tanks literally starting falling out of the devices due to the threads. But the Istick 50 had that issue much faster than the 2 older I Stick 20s I had. With the IPV2 the store said the center pin and threading weren't lining up correctly, and that it was defective. My Sigelie works like a champ. It's just so big! But it's dependable. I'll probably have better luck with a second attempt with the Evic Mini. I love the size for out of the house use.

The iStick 20s had really soft 510 threads that were prone to stripping. AFAIK, all subsequent iSticks came with stainless steel 510 connector threads that were much more sturdy.

Maybe the tank you used with the iStick 50 had soft threads? Some of the cheaper tanks are chrome-plated brass, which is softer than stainless steel. For example, I have a GS-Air M tank with badly worn threads.

I still use the itaste vv3. The center post on those gets pushed down by my tanks constantly, and I always have to push them up with a tweezer.

So I splurged yesterday and got some cheesecake from Publix. I had a slice, and thoroughly enjoyed it...but I realized this morning...that it had tasted completely NORMAL! The first thing I've eaten since I got this chemo-taste-thing that tasted the way it was supposed to!

My iStick 20s are almost useless, the threading is so bad but I use the 30s constantly. Two of them have temperamental threads so I keep adapters in them, that way I unscrew the tank from it and don't involve the threading.

sweet-vapes is wonderful. I got 2 Joyetech AIOs from them recently. Their daily price for them is substantially cheaper than anyone else's sale price. The only thing I don't like is the 1500mAh battery life. I'm going to wait until I finish the CPWT bottle and change the flavor in that one to something I vape more than a few minutes a day to make my final decision but I think it's a good mod for luddites. If I get more, I'll also get a few Cubis tanks -- they use the same coils so it will be more efficient to stock up.

Congratulations on the cheesecake flavor, @PennyLynn

I have 3 eVic minis and haven't had a problem with any of them. I used to screw my tanks in tightly, too. It really does cause a lot of problems. I've finally kicked myself of the habit. A good mod to use while working on it is the Cloupor Mini. It has to be the original black or silver before they added TC. They have a screw pin that you can adjust for your tanks. It really helped keep me from killing the center pin.

I love the iStick 60W and the iStick Pico. The 60W is taller but it's super cheap ($28), you can change the battery, and it's really sturdy. It's also comfortable to hold and use. I have 3 and haven't had any problems at all. If you want smaller go for the Pico. Same features but a lot smaller. I paid $19 for my last one. I bought it from here:

Eleaf iStick Pico 75W TC VW Box Mod APV - Brushed Silver

Authentic Joyetech eVic-VTC Mini 75W TC Box Mod APV - Black

I have 3 of the older eVic minis and they do work great. I love my Cyan set. The rest are all black with silicone sleeves. One is purple and the other is red.

My iStick 20s are almost useless, the threading is so bad but I use the 30s constantly. Two of them have temperamental threads so I keep adapters in them, that way I unscrew the tank from it and don't involve the threading.

Congratulations on the cheesecake flavor, @PennyLynn

All of my iSticks with built in batteries quit working. Even my 40 watts! The battery is fine in them. They all give me an error when I put an atomizer on them. The 60 watt has been the best for me. I've been using them longer and haven't had a single problem.

I just bought a bunch of atomizer coolers from Fasttech and put them on my mods. They'll save the threads and keep my tanks cooler. Some of them get pretty hot when chain vaping.

I've looked at the AIOs and they look nice. My favorite Joyetech mod is the original egrip. The GS Air coils fit it perfectly and it's a great stealth vape setup. The first one I bought has the OLED screen and uses Ego One coils. I bought an original replacement base for it so I could use the GS Air coils. I found an original egrip the other day on clearance from a US vendor for $21. It was just the mod. Not even a drip tip included. But I love it.

Sweet-vapes has great service. I buy coils from them a lot. I'm stocking up on 1.5 ohm GS Air coils since they can be rebuilt. I use a lot of the GS Air tanks. I have 1 Cubis tank on an eVic mini. It's a nice tank! I have my Lemon Ginger Iced Tea juice in mine.

Atomizer coolers? Where (or what's it's proper name -- I can't find it on the linked page or on the site.) My tanks are fine but my atomizers get very hot. As in "rest it against your face and open your pores" hot.

I'm having a little trouble with the AIO knowing that it's been charged but that might be me being loopy about the button and not the mod's fault. It also takes me a few tries to line up the threading for putting the cap back on straight (but I sometimes need a couple of tries to screw in a light bulb.)

The coil is great. I just ran 30ml of CPWT through it and it's not dragging in the slightest. The instructions say you shouldn't run water through it so I just blew it out as much as I could and am now half-way through a 10ml sample I hadn't gotten to. Once I need to change the coil this is definitely going to house Rasputin or another all day vape. (Never changing the flavor will also solve any difficulties in cleaning a tank that can't be removed.)

But my favorite thing, and the reason I'll probably buy more, is that it doesn't leak. I tend to flood atomizers and even tanks fill up the threading well a bit and a few drops can leak out. I've had both AIOs on the side half the time and not a single drop has escaped.

@Bukket5 , link to atomizer coolers please?

I bought these:

$4.67 510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers (5-Pack) 5-pack - aluminum / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$3.87 510 Heat Dissipation Heat Sink for Atomizers (4 Pieces) 4-pack - 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The colored ones look great on matching mods or to match a drip tip.

Fasttech's shipping has gotten faster. As long as you order an item that's in stock I've been getting my orders in about 8 days. So I split my orders if there's something I really want but it's restocking.

Cigabuy is great if you're ordering one item. The shipping is only $2.90. But if you try to order 4 boxes of coils it goes up to $17! It's so ridiculous. I only use them to grab one mod that's on clearance. I've ordered from them about 5 times now with no problems.

Hopefully Fasttech will have a 4th of July sale. I just have to remember that it would be on the 3rd.

Thanks @Bukket5! I am hoping for a July 4 sale too! I want my mods to last, so I think the heat sink is a good idea to help protect the 510 pin.

I won a Justfog clearo in the ECF contest. I have Frijian Nights in it but it was starting to taste off. It only came with 1 replacement coil and they are prohibitively expensive and have only found them from Justfog. Found a Chinese video on YouTube, could not understand the words but the video was good. I am now happily vaping my Frijian Nights on a rebuilt coil!! YAY!!!:banana::banana:

Thanks! Yup, I need to invest in more gear. I've given away so many mods to help other people quit smoking. I've gone from having 5 devices to 2...
and while I can still use my Evic, but for some reason even the best batteries last me 2-3 hours max. Re-taping the door shut over and over is actually almost comical! Thanks for the tips on gear!!! I'll stock up soon.
Today I prep for an exploratory outpatient surgery I have tomorrow. I fast for the next 36 hours. I'll be Vaping a lot to keep my taste buds satisfied and drinking lots of fluids. I have to give a huge shout out to Penny for her support and taking the time to talk to me. Penny, you rock! Jedi Mark too:)
Have a great day everyone!!!
