Are you getting enough nicotine to feed your addiction? I was a 3 PaD smoker so I started with 24mg. I now vape 6mg. If I had started vaping at 6mg, I'd still be smoking.
You don't need to spend so much. A different mod isn't going to make the difference on whether vaping is for you. Different wattage does make a difference in how a flavor tastes (it took me a long time to admit that as variable voltage/wattage didn't exist when I started) so, unless you are planning to start as a direct-to-lung vaper, you need a decent quality mod and juice with ingredients that work for you. Once you find that, then you can spend on pimping your ride.
If you're not an obsessive cloud chaser, PG and VG only matter somewhat. They do each have a flavor some people hate one or the other. A few people are allergic to one of them (PG allergies are more common.) Other than that:
PG is thinner. It conveys the flavor better. It is less of a coil gunker. It is very drying. (If I use too much VG when my allergies are acting up I get a severe dry throat cough that makes me sound like a terminal TB patient.)
VG is thicker and produces bigger clouds. For some people it causes a tightness in their chests that makes it feel like it's hard to breathe. This goes away as soon as they lower their VG content. (I get a stomach ache if I vape over 50% VG.)
Menthol: menthol flavor is not the same thing as real menthol. The description of Menthol Ward at Ahlusion sound like they start with real menthol crystals but you can always ask them.

Thanks for the advice... I can not seem to vape high nic... i have one vendor who's juice is 12mg but it's high vg and it doesn't bother me. but allmy juices over 6mg gag me. literally. it's a reaction, i start dry heeving.
any way, i've spent the evening looking at old posts trying to go back to when i did not smoke for those 3 weeks and what i was using. and it seems i was vaping some menthols on very low voltage. like 3.3-3.5 Back in my cigalike days...
so now i'm stuck with thinking was it the little cigallike batteries and tanks... or was it just the lower wattage.
so now i'm curious if i get some menthol flavors and stick them on my provari at the lowest voltage/wattage it can handle. maybe that will work. according to my reviews and posts, the stronger equipement i got, the bigger tanks i got, the more unhappy i became with my vape.
i actually ranted and raved over halo's g6 and triton setups... which have been long gone since my provari days... but i never found a tank i liked on the provari, aside from some carto tanks.
either way, think i'm gonna pick some ahlusion menthols, hopefully i can figure out wich are the weakest menthols lol, and try them in a tank on low watts. and cross my fingers.

I only suggested the STM to help you save money on buying coils as you mentioned vaping was getting expensive. You can put it on your Provari and vape at low watts. I did hear you mention that too much nic makes you sick and this is why I did not mention going up in nicotine. I hope you can find a way to stick with it.

Some of these acronyms that get bantered around can get very confusing.It's actually a "sale" that has been going on for months now - ever since they updated their website earlier this year. That may change once their "elite" line is up and running.

Melon Berry Frost maybe a good choice. I used it a lot early on. Agree on the Sleighride. It is the vape that finished my smoke for good. I get mine with extra mint. It is a mint and not menthol feel. The teas seem to scratch that itch pretty well too. I also love the LCS right now.
Recommend you try one of the 'bacco flavors too. Godfather seems to do well for most and a lot like the Wildwood series. Not coil gunkers like real extracts.

good feed back thank you. i do have melon berry frost on the way as well as bobo lychee tea, i think that's what it's called lol. as well as orient whisper, if any of these are a hit i will give sleigh ride a try.
What tank do you use?
On their FB page, Ahlusion just announced that they will no longer be able to ship to Utah, as well. I'm not in Utah, but I am worried about what is coming next. And what other states are they no longer able to ship to?
I'm low tech and old fashioned. I use a Kanger T2 Clearo, Kanger mini, and a Vivi Nova. I don't rebuild (yet). I use the Kanger T2 most of the time. Top coil gives me the best taste, temp and vapor blend I have been able to find.
Was about to place an order but the Ahlusion site seems to be down right now. I wonder if the Elite line is coming up?
