:eek::eek::eek::eek: On their FB page, Ahlusion just announced that they will no longer be able to ship to Utah, as well. I'm not in Utah, but I am worried about what is coming next. And what other states are they no longer able to ship to?
At one point it looked like NY was going to restrict sales to a nutty degree. I figured out that if NJ still allowed e-cigs, I'd get a mail box in Hoboken near the path train. If NJ banned them, my sister in PA was going to be forwarding mail to me.

People who live near one of the borders in Utah can set up group buys with occasional trips to a nearby state to pick the stuff up. But if you live somewhere like Provo you're a long way away from anything that isn't Utah.

They're not shipping to Arkansas either, I believe. I would think no more Indiana soon, with what passed in that state recently?

Hi everyone.
I'm back after the week from hell. It was one health adventure after another. I developed a terrible sore throat, for which they make up a special formula called Magic Mouthwash. Didn't help. Then I started checking my temperature and realized I had a fever. i was also incredibly fatigued.
They tell you any infection can be dangerous (!!!) during chemo, because you have no resistance. I went to the hospital, but my oncologist called back, told me to go home, and put me on a Z-pack.
Next day, I went in for fluid replenishment as usual, but they did blood work, and my hemoglobin was so low that I got scheduled for a blood transfusion the very next day! The nurses in the unit were all from New York, so that was nice.
Yesterday I finally started to feel better. Then i realized that the Z-pack was playing games with my digestion, so I went on the yogurt and a probiotic. Now, I'm feeling like I'm going to have a few good days before my LAST CHEMO next Monday. Also a very good time to clean up a big mess of clearos filled with various juices and just start 'em all fresh. And brew some soup. And wash my PJs.
And just step outside and appreciate a beautiful day.

Thanks so much!
I go to my plastic surgeon tomorrow to discuss my surgery. I'm hoping for the simplest possible reconstruction, because I am SO ready to get back to normal life. Don't want to do anything to slow that down.

Review: Apple Berry Splash (Express, best by October 2016)
As a food, I prefer sour apples such as Granny Smith or a semi-sweet one such as a Braeburn. I dislike sweet apples like Golden Delicious and I don't like apple juice.

Apple Berry Splash has the sweetest apple in any apple-based Ahlusion flavor I've tried so, tastebuds being the contrary beasts that they are, it is my favorite. It has a very clean, sweet flavor. I can't identify the berries but they complement the apple perfectly.

Anyone else find that when they are researching vaping subjects they vape more than usual? I'm looking for a mod that takes an 18650 battery that is relatively light-weight. They all seem to weigh as much as a baby hippo but, in case of the vapocalypse, I think I should have a couple tucked away as external batteries can always be replaced. While watching reviews, I have vaped myself into a stupor.

Anyone have one that they recommend?

@PennyLynn - how did it go?

The Treebox by Smok is a nice wooden box mod that's light as a feather and takes an 18650 battery.

SMOK Treebox 75W TC $34.95

Poeia, it went very well! Today I see the cancer surgeon and I'm supposed to tell him to call the other guy so that they can start planning the surgery. It sounds as though there may be at least two steps, but whatever. I also go in for fluids and blood-letting today (they look at all my levels prior to the next chemo, to see what I'm out of -- usually I'm anemic and low on magnesium, so they add some of the latter to my IV). I'm thinking of trying a hamburger tomorrow. At least next Monday is the Final Chemo. I plan to ask how soon after I can treat myself to a pina colada -- I'm not much of a drinker, but I think I'm going to need to celebrate pretty damned hard once this part is done.

Just a quick note re Jade Dew w/mint - about a month old. Must be my taste buds are a little off - it tastes similar to what I remember Peppermint Mocha tasted like. :?:

Not sure if it's a reorder yet - just finished my first 2ml tankful.

I got a sample with no mint and it's a good clean tea. :)

Yes, please do. I tried the pina colada years ago and didn't care for it, but it's been so long that I would try a different colada, esp strawberry. 60 mls right off the bat lol, awesome!

Pina Colada, sweetened, is my go to flavor. I love it! But I've found that Pineapple dominant flavors require the extra sweetener.

Hey Yall.. i jumped on Ahlusion's sale this past week. I will say the last time i tried Ahlusion i was not impressed. Back then, it's been awhile now, 2 years? Any way, back then I was only willing to try strawberry and blueberry. In all fairness, I havn't found too many flavors that I love for any length of time. So i've decided to branch out on my flavor profile..

my ahlusion order consists of
Orient whisper ( i once fell in love with a lychee raspberry vape but it was soon discontinued)
Boba Tea Lychee (i don't believe i've tried a tea vape, and though i don't know what boba tea is really, I figured step outside my comfort zone lol)
melon-berry frost is my sample of choice....(i once vaped a canteloupe, plain and simple canteloupe, loved it, reordered a bigger bottle, and it vaped and smelled exactly like finger nail pollish remover... very horrid.

well all, wish me luck.

i've been vaping custards and vanillas for so long that none of them have any flavor, definitely no pizazz. So i'm really hoping that by switching it up i find myself a couple of new juices.

Please share with me, your favorite ahlusion juices, with how long you steep them. If any of these 3 i ordered are even somewhat good, then i will order again the next sale they have. with a couple new flavors to try.

thanks yall.

Melon Berry Frost is delicious. I get mine with no mint or menthol. Some of the must try flavors are Fijian Nights, Orange Creamsicle, Pineapple Cream (sweetened), Mango Lassi, Lemon Cream, Cheehu Cocktail and I know I missed a lot more. These are just what I'm addicted to right now.

thanks... i have tried some wta... and it was working unfortunately it's a coil killer. literally a coil a day :( i even tried to use some rebuildables but i'm not good at building...

i don't have that kind of time to sit and fiddle. I'm very discouraged right now. I ordered from 3 vendors this week and tried to pick a variety of different flavors. I'm hoping i'll get something. I finally have a tank that works good (anyvape cerotank), got my sophia's working as well.(using already built coils) now every juice i have is not vapeable... so i'm at a loss... other than maybe i'm tired out of the creams, vanillas and bakeries.?? who knows. I've been messing with airflow, tight to loose, and trying out different inhale techniqes, i like to vape like i smoked, fill the mouth with vapor then inhale, but now i'm practicing straight lung shots... makes me cough though. my only other thought if these new juices don't work, is maybe try some unflavored.

i was very happy in my vaping journey with carto tanks. and then ibtanked stopped selling them, there are still boges out there, but they are crap. and the juices i loved in carto's aren't the same in tanks.

i'm trying.. i really am. kinda starting to wish i never started vaping though. it's very depressing to be at it for so long... i mean. lots of money blown ya know.

Ahlusion is different from any other flavor. They use mainly their own flavoring that they create. It is cleaner, clearer, and more of an exact taste instead of an overpowering fake flavor.

I was a carto tank user, too. I still have favorite flavors that I can't vape anymore since they don't taste right in anything else. I hate anything that is a mouth to lung inhale. So here's what I use now:

Kangertech AeroTank Megas and GeniTank Megas with 1.8 ohm VOCC coils. Fasttech has the Authentic coils for under $6 a box. GS Airs, all sizes. EVod Megas. An original eGrip with GS Air 1.5 ohm coils. All sizes of the Kanger Sub Tanks with the 1.5 ohm SSOCC coils. I'm going to try the RBA in the Kanger Subs soon. A Kayfun ES. It is perfect! I ordered 2 more from Fasttech they work so well.

Fasttech sells RBA coils for super cheap. You can get 50 for $2. They work great! I use the 1.5 ohm. I've stocked up on them. I use them to rebuild coils, too. Shipping is free and as long as you don't order anything with a battery or not in stock my orders have been arriving in under 2 weeks.

The only thing that changed recently is the price of upgrading to 60 ml from 30 ml. It recently went from $11 to $11.40 - which makes me wonder if Wlad intends to get rid of the 60 ml option although that's just wild speculation on my part.

I've been thinking the same. With a Gold Member discount it costs more for a 60ml than 2 30mls. So I've got way too many smaller bottles.

I sent an email asking why they were doing this and if they wanted people to stop ordering 60ml but they didn't respond.

I'm low tech and old fashioned. I use a Kanger T2 Clearo, Kanger mini, and a Vivi Nova. I don't rebuild (yet). I use the Kanger T2 most of the time. Top coil gives me the best taste, temp and vapor blend I have been able to find.

I agree. I really don't care for all the sub ohm high wattage gear. I don't want huge clouds. I just want a nice vape.

My favorite lightweight mod is the iStick 60W or the original Cloupor Mini. I have 3 of each. The iStick is super light, a little taller but really comfortable in the hand. They both have magnetic doors so it's easy to change batteries. I paid $19 for the last 2. It was from Sourcemore or Everbuying. They take a bit longer to ship than Fasttech but worth it for the price.

Hmmmm. I have a few iStick 20s that I don't use and an entire flock (I think 9 -- one of each color and a second blue porcelain.) of iStick 30s that I use a lot. My problem is that they seem to make the connection threading out of some soft metal like aluminum foil. It's why I never end up using my 20Ws. Is it better on the 60W?

None of the current ones are super light, probably because of all the electronics they squeeze in). The 60W is 102g without the battery (which adds about 40g). In comparison, my iStick 30W is 92.5g. But the shape matters. My MVP weighs 145g but it's so wide that it could probably weigh a quarter of that and still make my hand hurt. (But it does go all the way to 5 volts! Wow!!) :)

I never looked at the Cloupor Mini. More research.
I'm also considering the Kooper Mini 60W and the eVic VTC Mini (especially since I can get them with Cubis tanks which I like).
And I'm definitely getting a Treebox. That is a beauty.

I finally decided "what if the vapocalypse happens and lasts a long time?" Every battery can be charged a finite number of times so I'd better have a few that have batteries that can't be banned. Currently the only mods with external batteries I have are my Chuck, Little Chuck, an imitation aluminum Bolt and couple of 2nd generation Screwdrivers tucked away somewhere.

Longer than Fasttech? Is that possible? Do you at least get them in the same calendar year?

Doing research on this stuff is making me feel so old. I keep wanting to yell at "those kids who don't know how good they have it. We had to walk 5 miles in the snow, uphill both ways, in order to vape." There are a ton of videos on the Tube of You from people who are tearing into Smok as a dishonest, horrible company that they will never buy from again because their subsidiary, Kooper, messed up on their interface for downloading Kooper Mini upgrades. They agree it's a good mod but those upgrades --:evil::evil::-x:mad::-x

Whaaaaat?

Anyone need good, old fasioned, Joyetech atomizers? Vapor Kings is having a 20% off everything (except clearance items) sale through Monday with the code SAVE20NOW

They were 99¢ to begin with. On sale they're 79¢. (Assuming, of course, that I didn't clean them out. I bought a ton. I like atomizers.)

Hi, PennyLynn! So sorry to hear you had such a bad week. Hopefully you are near the end of it now. You are such a trooper! You are going to do quite fine with the next step and will be up and running around and eating all you want real soon. I just know it.

Get the eVic VTC mini!! I have 3 of them and love them. Same size as the Cloupor mini. It's great being able to stand them up to charge since the USB is right under the buttons. They also have firmware upgrades online. I have a cyan one with the Cubis tank so I ordered the RBA rebuildable coil from Fasttech to try out. They say it isn't very sturdy but for $3 it's worth a try. I'm vaping on the eVic with the Cubis tank filled with Lemon Cream as I type this. :p

The curve on the 60W is what makes it so comfortable to hold. I thought I read that they fixed the threads starting with the 30W? I ordered the colored doors so I've got a black and white, dark blue and silver, and one I just left black and silver. My Kayfun is on it. I just got the blue enamel 30W a few months ago and it's really pretty. :) Every one of my iSticks 40W died on me. I have 3 30W that are still working perfectly. They are a year older than the 40 watts were when they just quit working. That's what lead me to stop buying with built in batteries.

I also have a lot of mechanical mods so I have enough mods to last a lifetime and more. I'm trying to stop buying new ones. Lol. Now I'm working on tanks that I don't have to buy coils for or uses rebuildable coils. I finally got out my 3 year old Kayfun that I'd never even tried and I really like it! So I ordered 2 more newer ones to try. I use the premade coils from Fasttech that are super cheap. You can get a pack of 50 for $2.09 and they work great.

$2.09 Pre-Coiled Wires for Rebuildable Atomizers (50-Pack) 50-pack - 1.5ohm / 0.3mm dia. / 30*30mm leads at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

They work to rebuild coils and in my Kayfun. I need to order a lot more and in different ohms. So much easier than trying to make them myself but I've got the supplies if I have to do it. I used one and rebuilt my first coil (a Kanger AeroTank coil) in about 2 minutes!

I'm looking for V2 of the Ego One Mega. Just ordered one of the original versions from Fasttech. I've read that the rebuildable coils for it are really easy to do and they have great flavor. I can't wait to try it out.
