While I wait for my SS Chi You, I decided to also purchase the AIOS T/D rba to go along with it when it arrives. Can anyone who has this setup tell me a little about the Atty? I've tried to google up some info regarding the atty and have seen Mojo's video about building, however, I wanted someone's personal experience, opinions and how it compares to other attys (i.e. kayfun, Ithaka, Nimbus, AC9, DID, etc.) Thanks guys...

i bought one and its different than any other rba's that i have(AC9, cobra, agatt2, kayfun) understandably so since aios is a top fed genesis.

biggest difference is that the vape is cool, i run low ohm coil setups on all my gennys(.6~.8 ohms) and even @ low ohms, the vape is cool even tho coils are burning hot enough to warm the bottom of the atty. It took me little bit to get used to the cold vape but i am slowly getting used to it.

building the coil was.... difficult as well, i never rolled 2mm wick and dont own a multimeter(yet) so i had no idea what ohm coil i was wrapping, and also i love the clouds of low-ohm coils but i never could build just a low ohm SS wick setup however if wrap regular ohm coil(guessing 1.5+) it perform well without getting dry hits but gets sub-par vapor like the youtube video of mojo showing you how to build the AIOS.

I havent tried the L-wick to thicken up the coil area, but i believe you can get it setup pretty nicely with just a simply SS wick setup like this youtube guy. He wrapped 28 ga, 7/8 at 1.0-1.1 ohm and getting pretty good vapor.

i am currently running 500 mesh with 28ga kanthal 4/5 wrap over ekowool and getting pretty good vapor/flavor out of it, and only thing different from my other setup would be that the vapor is cool.

It reminds me of the Cyclon V2 which is also a cooler vape but believe me, this atty has its place! While I like vanilla custard nice and warm, to me the cooler vape really suits things like Pluid or Scorpions Blood. Beautiful refreshing vape. The inverted genesis style to me really brings the out the flavour and delivers a good throat hit as well. They are an essential part of the arsenal of a well-rounded vapernaut as far as I am concerned :).

I purchased one on vaporwall and received it Saturday. At first I tried using SS mesh to build the coil, but changed gears when the pre rolled wick I had was too large for the tank. To make the wick I used a piece of 1/16" SS rope with a small piece of silica sleeve over one end and wrapped the coil using 30 gauge kanthal ribbon wire, much like you'd do on a genny. I wrapped it first then tightened the positive and negative posts down. Very easy setup that took a few minutes to complete. The only other thing I did was to lube the threads with a light coating of noalox and I was vaping in no time. To me the flavor was fantastic albeit cooler. This thing is a joose hog, but hey...what genny isn't. I especially love the hybrid look since you can just screw it directly onto the tube and still enjoy the adjustable airflow feature. I ordered a couple of the brass rings too which really gives it a great two tone finish. Love it, can wait to try it in dripping mode with a silica wick.

The Aios could be real ..... to build.

Key point is the thickness of mesh.
it cant be too thin and thick.

whole point of mesh to get soaked nicely is that how well co2 and air goes up in the tank and push down the juice to the mesh.

so if the mesh is too thick, you will get burn hit.

if the mesh is too thin, it will leak out like crazy.

to find the best setting is real ..... on this.

good luck.

one of my o rings need to be replaced. anyone know where to get replacement orings?

one of mine is looking ragged as well... i was thinking maybe one of the extras that came with my kayfun or russian might work on it. i still need to pull them out and give it a try.

I'm giving mine a go on some new builds this weekend. I'm gonna give a 1/16 ss cable with ekowool cover build a try. With the cable short enough to work in dripper mode of tank mode.

We'll see how it goes. If this thing isn't set up right it leaks all over the place in tank mode.

I keep seeing this tank discussed with a chi you mod. Other than how it looks, is there a reason for this? Can this tank work with other mech mods like k-100?

its made as a hybrid atty for the chi you. meaning, it threads directly onto the mod's tube rather than using a typical 510 connection. the reason for this is performance. having your atty tap directly into your battery's power eliminates a good deal of lost voltage; this creates better performance.

ive been told that it will work on other mods but i cannot personally confirm.
