¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have had 5 different single coil rebuildabe tanks in rotation for over a month now, and I've been noticing in that time for all 5 tanks that air bubbles only ever rise from one of the 2 juice ports for any given RTA, and it's always the same juice port (even if everything is fine and I'm not getting dry hits).

Even if I force it by closing off the airflow and taking a pull, air bubbles only rise from one port (again, always the same port).

This may have been the case for years and I never noticed it. Is this normal?

Because if it's not normal it seems too coincidental that my wicking is always subpar for one of the juice ports regardless of the tank.

Looking to understand RTA wicking better. It's the key to consistency.

Wicking resting against the port inside of the chimney and blocking air bubble escape could cause this. Even if this happens the air bubble will just rise out of the other side port. Smooth the wicking against the center of the deck to make sure one air port isn't blocked by excessive wicking. If that doesn't work, try thinning the tails of the wick on both sides so that they don't fill the area around the air port.

As others said, air will escape and find its way upward out of the other port if one port is blocked. If it doesn't, then you'll get dry hits.

It's how it supposed to work...if the tank part of the atty seals correctly as it should then the only place where air comes into the tank is the cotton.....
One of the 2 cotton ends is usually a little less dense and that causes it to release air from that side...
I remember when I had problems with flooding in mine I never saw any bubbles...now I always see from one side always ....maybe there was a case it could happend from both If the wicking is perfectly balanced???? but I doubt that's possible...
Even on my zlide with drop it coils always the 2 holes make bubbles and never the all 4....but that has to do with the coil design as I notice when started rebuilding them....
As long as u don't get dry hits yes you are fine just didn't notice before :)
