Got this from Eciggity, pretty happy with the extra capacity. Not seeing the air holes raised like the pic on mine though, but I don't have any flooding issues until I fill it, and then just have to blow it out. Size is fine, about the size of a KF 3.1, and really not much bigger than v2. I'm getting 5-6 mils per fill, which is lasting far longer than v2 (one refill per day vs 3 refills with v2).

I do notice it airlocks when filling (bottom filling through port), so it's gets a bit messy and takes longer than the v2 (have to squeeze juice in, wait, let it bubble, wait, etc). I have a kayfun top fill cap coming from fasttech, hope this makes filling easier.

Anyone else have one yet, what do you think of it? I'm very happy! With the kayfun top fill top cap, I think this is IMO the closest thing to perfect I've vaped yet. :vapor:

Thanks for posting.
I have a V3 and V4 on order and am glad to get some early feedback.

From my Kayfun Experience:
When filling, keep the unit straight upside down - no tilt.
Fill slow to allow air to push out the wicks as e-liquid flows in
Always leave a Bubble for equalization and to prevent overfill flooding.

* Orchid V4 is only rated for 4Ml so you may well be forcing liquid through the inner chamber and into the air passages.
Top Cap is not the best choice. Looks nice and avoids pulling the tank, but the channels will be on the low side when filling, sitting in liquid. This could cause additional flooding. Best to keep a finger over the air passages while top filling to minimize.

I have the same Orchid V4 and it has been doing very well for me. Friends told me that Orchid is the king of flooding and very hard to wick correctly but I started it correctly from day 1. My only problem is gunky coil and burnt cotton.... It change my liquid color into darker color. Maybe because I always chain vape it at 0.5-0.7 ohm.

I would like to accessorize it a bit... Do anyone have the link to sites like fasttech that has Orchid V4 accessories that will work out of the box? I am no handyman and never good at it... so I won't cut things especially metals...
The one that I really want to change is the steel tank. While it has PC portion on it, I would like to see the remaining of my juice clearer.... So, wider glass / PC portion is needed.

Another interesting one is the kayfun top fill cap... but I don't know where to buy it and which one will fit Orchid V4... @crxess so just close the air hole when doing top fill right? I am filling by opening the top part while closing the air hole at the moment, then after finish, put the cap back on while still holding the air hole.. I will thread it 2-3 round, then turn upside down, thread 2-3 more time, release the air hole....

Then it will leak a bit from side but still okay.

The kayfun top fill cap works great on the V4. I have to warn you though... I bought two from Fasttech and both aren't machined correctly. The threads bottom out before the two tiny o-rings (fill/vent) can be fully compressed, so they leak. I'll try filing them down about 1mm and see if it helps them when I get around to it. The ones I bought on eBay from seller "zavermot" sealed fine. No modifications needed.

When you use a top-fill cap, if you're .... like me about wasting any juice, you have to plug ALL THREE holes (both intakes and the drip tip hole) when you twist it to expose the top cap fill/vent holes for filling. If you don't you'll flood the chimney. It's easy to plug all three with one hand, while filling with the other. Start to finish it takes 30 seconds to fill all 5 ml with zero wasted juice.

Thanks for the info... I will try to look at zavermot on eBay.

I found it: Easy Fill Custom Kayfun Orchid Atomizer 2 Piece Top Cap | eBay
It costs more than 2x the FT ones, but you're less likely to have issues from my experience.
I did sand them down (the ones from FT) last night after writing that post, using a sheet 1000 grit sandpaper and working it for about 5-10 min. I'm guessing it probably only took off .02-.03", but it was enough. It seals now (after doing a quick pull-test resting it against my palm). :)
