airflow of new batt

Having trouble with too much airflow on my newer batts. I have blocked 2 of the 3 air holes and it is still too much, if i block the 3rd it is not enough. My older batts are good with 1 hole unblocked. any ideas/help appreciated

Have you contacted CS? I'm sure they can help you. Also, have you checked the posts on both/either the cart or battery to make sure you have a good connection? If they aren't making contact you will be sucking alot of air, as well. I have noticed that the inner hole (on the post) in diamond XL's is larger than the post-hole on my older XL's. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.
