1.4mm, but I'm vaping a very low res. micro.

for a normal coil, I used to like 1.2mm: but I think that's barely bigger than stock. This brass is soft enough where you can just ream it with an awl (a little at a time) until you find the size you like. I mean, if you're not going too much bigger than stock. Careful, tho, too big comes real quick!

I've reamed mine out a little.....do it a little at a time. I used little files that I got at Hobby Lobby in the Beading section. I've actually seen them at a couple of Super Walmarts since then. Probably Michaels has them. Beading. Anyway, I like the draw a little more airy than it was, so I did it. Like pdib says.....too much can come pretty fast and it's pretty irreversible.

EDIT: Oops....just noticed the link above. Yes...that's what I used. Only I got a kit with a couple of them in it at Hobby Lobby for under $5, so you might check locally.

beat ya Jan :)
Yes I got the set of 4 for $5 at Michaels, the diamond files or reamers worked great on stainless so the brass would really be easy to over do.

Yep...we were talking at the same time. :) Yes....the RM2 is really easy to ream out....I had to be really careful.....but I got it. Mine are just right now. (They were almost perfect already.....just needed a little adjustment. Glad I didn't get carried away. :))

How much did you open it by like 1/16"?? Was the difference noticeable and did it help the vape? Thanks.

Hub just to make sure before you do anything to the airhole. Make sure your driptip is tight. If you have a loose fitting driptip it can make your atty feel like its airy. You can check the tightness of the driptip by putting your finger over the airhole then sucking on the driptip. If its fairly tight and its real hard to draw on then you know the driptip is fitting tight. If it is loose it can make the atty feel airy.

I have a couple RM2s... on the original, I drilled mine out a bit, and still wasn't satisfied so I also added an additional hole on the other side. Sometimes I prefer it that way, other times I prefer the "stock" configuration. However, I disagree that it is "pretty irreversible"... I find it is reasonable easy to add a little strip of 3M carbon fiber wrap (or even just tape, or a finger...) to cover the extra hole when I'm in the mood for a little extra vacuum/negative pressure. (Or I might just swap it out for one of my other attys.)

Or use duct tape when you want to go Redneck.
