just did Beijing > Munich > Nice, more than 11 hrs flight, 2 x kayfun minis+ 1 Russian, placed them upside down vertically during take off and landing. No leaks and not so pleasantly surprised, it is physics after all.

Also had a CE4 clearo, didn't leak but it became gurglish at the end of trip. Had tissue paper rolled up like a needle and shoved that up the bottom air hole and that took care of the excess juice causing the gurgle.

Stealth vaped throughout the flight, keeping each draws inhaled for 10 seconds, and that avoided clouding up the place.

Huh?!

Bringing back this post from the dead to talk about recent experiences.

I fly within the US at least twice a month, sometimes up to six times. Various airlines. I have and continue to vape in the bathroom. I don't blow the cloud into the smoke detector and I have never had a problem.

Now on to the leaking issue mentioned a bunch. As the penultimate post mentioned, I have had basically no leaking issues with my KLP or Russian 91s when placed upside down. I usually wrap them in a paper towel and place them upside down in the seat pocket or in my girlfriend's purse. The absolute BEST tank/RBA that I have used on a plane are the GP Heron and GP Spheroid. Absolutely NO leaking based on how they are set up. They are amazing and I love them.

I haven't had to fly since I retired a few years ago and started vaping, but I'd probably leave my tanks empty (or almost empty) and carry a boxed of filled cartos in my carry on bag, along with an inexpensive eGo or whatever to vape when I got off the plane. The cartos come with slip on tube seals (condoms) that would be just fine unless they were overfilled. After all, cartos can be some of the best vapes you'll find.

I'd hate for my Provari to be confiscated. A cheap vape would be more than likely what I'd carry on the plane. We'd all want to vape as soon as we entered the terminal!

I'm traveling to Mexico in a few weeks, and I'm really glad I read this. I had no idea and would have thought nothing of getting on with my filled tank. I guess I'll figure out a work-around.

Also, you guys who stealth-vape on planes and in the lavoratories are my heros, lol. I wouldn't have the nugs. And my luck, I'd get busted by an air marshall, the flight would get diverted, and I'd be put on the no-fly list

Well, since I said I'd update my experiences flying with the Halo triton, here goes:

It leaks! Not all the time, but enough to be completely undependable. So I fly with one bone dry tank, and the tank I've been using sealed in a pill bottle. When I get to the hotel, I fill the dry tank, and either have to clean the old one or not. About 75% of the time, I have to clean it.
