Yea we got back this afternoon. WOOPED, lol. And unfortunately have to go to a funeral tommorrow!!!!!!
My aunt had parkinsons and hed been going down fast the last few weeks and she passed Sun afternoon while we were visiting my brother. But she's not suffering anymore. And my moms best freind has a growth on here neck were she got a stint. When it rains it poors.

Wow. My condolences on the loss of your aunt. I hope that your brother is doing well, and your mom's friend. scary.

so, one reason i started a chat thread was that i knew that I'd want to go really off topic at times....

Perfectly on topic. We had three and when my mother died last Sept., we inherited two more. On of the two never leaves my side. I call her my "hip-wart"!!

Looks like it was a good trip. The pics made me miss the plains. I grew up in Nebraska, and moved to Bama like 4 years ago.
When it rains, it poors. Yesterday about 5pm we heard sirens and could tell it was close. Then after the sirens ended we got a call that my moms best freind and our neighbor was being Airlifted to UAB. They were browdsided by a teenager that had been drinking and doing 70+ mph in a 25 mph zone a mile down the road. They are both going to make it, and so far all 7 of the kids in the green Thunderbird. The good lord was watching out for all 9 involved.
