can you use straight 80 proof alcohol as flavor? would 1.5 ml of vodka, tequila, bourbon, rum, or gin be safe for the atomizer per 10 ml of ejuice? i assume the lower proof stuff would have too much sugar content?
i assume on the extracts at the grocery store, you'd just need to check the ingredients to make sure it doesn't contain oils or sugars.
also, couldn't you directly use boiled tea, tobacco, spices, powered creamer, or coffee? or add something like citric acid to break down the oils? or boil with alcohol or water, collecting the condensation, to separate the oils? (i don't remember enough from chemistry to know what binds or breaks down what). or to use some kind of micro filteration, centrifuge, or chemical to separate the oils and sugars from the water-soluble concentrate?
i guess i'm trying to understand how to make my own flavors, not just e-juice.
edit: side note: i assume having 0.15 ml of alcohol in a 1 ml cartomizer isn't going to cause problems with open container. a slice of fruit on the holidays or other baked goods cooked with extracts would have more alcohol content. however, is there a concern about breath tests. wouldn't the concentration in vapor form be higher than say alcohol levels in the blood measured by breath tests?
