I'm 6.5 weeks into being free of the real cigs. One side affect I'd enjoy feedback from is this.
Beer / wine / alcohol seem to have a stronger affect now.
In other words my *3 beer buzz* now occurs after 2 beers.
Anyone else find this?
Is my absorption rate now faster because I don't have all the carbon monoxide and other toxins in my blood?

That hasn't crossed my mind but I might have to pay more attention. One thing I have noticed since quitting the cigs is that my occasional hangovers are much milder. I remember smoking that first cigarette the next morning, and it's like my hangover would be amplified, since I've started vaping I don't have that problem.

I envy you!

My problem with vaping and alcohol is that I have to up my nicotine when I'm drinking but I haven't experienced getting more drunk off less alcohol... enjoy it though, quitting smoking is helping you save money in so many more ways!x

I haven't felt any difference like thet. I have been smoke free for 4 months and was scared I would relapse while drunk. Vaping works for me while drinking.

Me too... that was going to be my biggest test as to which so far so good. The only thing I do miss (pointed out by an ex smoker friend who tried my pv) was that extra immediate buzz from that first cig.

Yes Jackstraw. Definitely.
Stronger effect of alcohol is because alcohol is a depressant & nicotine is a stimulant. They have a tendency to counteract each other. That is why so many folks smoke when they drink.
So now if you get less nicotine by vaping or quitting cigarettes all together, one needs to be careful with the booze. Not only will the booze hit you harder, it will also lower your resolve to quit cigarettes.
Vape on.

That makes sense, and the extra dehydration from vaping will make the alcohol hit you harder too. We only get about half the nicotine from vaping that we did from analogs, so the stimulant effect would be diminished unless you're using really high nic mg or chain vaping.

Yep. Your communication skills are better than mine.
So vapers who drink could have 1 alcohol drink, then a glass of water, then another alcohol drink, followed by another water, etc. Taking care of both the hydration needs of vaping & the depressant effect of alcohol.

Try quitting drinking for a few years, and then drink a so called non-alcoholic drink. Wasted in minutes.....
