Alerts aren't working correctly

I've noticed a lot lately, not sure if there was an update to the forums or something

but I don't always get alerts when someone mentions me, it's hit and miss, quite random if I get alerted or not

It my understanding that if a member uses the "@" symbol along with your name, you should get an alert. Like @Shadav . I also believe no @ symbol then no alert.

yeah but it still doesn't always alert me.... I got the you quoted me alert but not the you mentioned me alert

i notice it mostly in the giveaway threads, I almost missed that I won something or when I'm tagged to join in, I'll be reading through the thread and then see someone tagged me but I never got the alert.

If the individual edits the post and puts your tag in it, it won't alert you. It only works on the original post, not edits.

I had a lert once, damn thing kept disappearing on me too.

I think they're kinda like Lejos - Spain's a big country and there's a lot of them here!

Been that way for me on this forum software, sometimes I get a notification of been tagged, sometimes not.
