((((((((((Weezy))))))))

Random is spoken here fluently. giggle

Welcome to the fam sweets.

Interesting correlation, I see many similarities between the aiv fam and my edmfam. Soo much love and just the feeling that you instantly belong no matter where you come from, who you are, how mad you are. Its really...cool. I can't think of the perfect word for it to be honest. It is what it is. I know I'm new here but thank you for making me (and everyone else from what I've seen) feel apart of something

p.s. (im looking at festivals i want to do this year while listening to sets from tomorrowworld last year. this isnt soo random. lol)

Wow, animal rescue and shelter fosters.....the last I did that was 3 years ago and never again.:(
Until that point, I ran the gamut from Guninea pigs to the Percheron mare we had for close to 10 years. Some people referred to my place as the "Zoo"...seriously.
My last "rescue" was a 3 year old wolfdog named Zoey. She was in Texas and we met the rescue people in Grants, New Mexico. It was a SNUFU of all SNAFU's. We had been lied to about her history, she was actually in the rescue's data base as a pup, the owner's lied about her reason for being given up, she had been chained from 6 months on, "red flagged" at 2 different Petsmarts as being "dangerous, do not handle", she was out of a rescue where she was the only surviving pup out of an inbreeding, and she bit and/or attacked every single person, including the owners, on the way from Texas to New Mexico, at which time she was tranqu'ed.............we picked up a drugged up animal.
The first morning she was here, I took her around the property. She "double tapped" my lower arm before Ontos, my male WD, dropped and rolled her, she just about tore the muscle below my elbow off. Brought her back in the house and she went into "game trail guard". Ontos would NOT let us near her. No sanctuary ponied up to take her, I refused to let the rescue group even THINK about placing her in another home, (the owners had said she was safe with kids, OMG) and we were the one's who ultimately had to put her down that evening. All of Zoey's history slowly came to us over the next week.
This was the first time I had ever been bit. I have never been kicked, struck, bit, or attacked by any of the 100's of animals that have come through here. I was raised on a farm/ranch, and know animals.

That was the end. I didn't get over that for months. Occasionally, I notice the scars on my arm. The owners should have been held accountable, they had not been properly screened and had no business having a WD. For that matter, Zoey should never have been adopted out when she was originally rescued.

Sorry to put that out there, it's been almost 3 years to the day, AURGH! Zoey was gorgeous, but the heroics to keep her alive when she was rescued as a newborn pup were for not. There was a reason why Nature allowed her litter mates to be born dead or die soon after, and the rescue should have let Nature take it's course with her too..........she was suffering from a brain tumor, whether from the inbreeding or DOCUMENTED abuse by the owners.

Nuf said about that. Be careful out there, fellow rescuers and fosters! Do your homework cause a lot of places just want the rescue numbers without giving you the entire background, and don't bother to follow up. :2c:

Just look for the pretty girl running around with the pretty teapot...... psst. she made that too...... and all the cups.......and

well, she loves to make stuff. pretty stuff. lol

Wow! Now I know I am in the right place! I love AiV juice and I rescue and foster cats. Currently have a mom Daisy and her five babies in my basement. I almost was a Foster Failure my first time (kept the cat I was fostering) but I told myself if I kept her I could no longer foster. I get them out of the shelter the night before they are due to being euthanized. I also fight the powers that be to end euthanasia and work with a group for the NO KILL nation.

All I can think of is "Scandinavian Glogg", if you've drank it, you know what I'm talking about, otherwise, I'd describe it as cranberry juice, red wine, cloves, fresh orange slices, ginger, cinnamon, and then there's variations with cardamon, anise, white wine, white grape juice, sliced almonds....but it does have a "spice" kick to it.
Merclipse is AWESOME, seriously, AWESOME!!!!:)

I'm more familiar with the German "Glüwine" variant of that beverage, and now that you mention it, it DOES taste sort of like spiced or mulled wine.

Yes, they have a special kind of magic at AiV. I don't know how they do it. I'm a pretty accomplished DIYer, but some of their flavors are just so far outside the box that I can't imagine how they do it...

Totally Lost
I love this story! Now I love your wife too. giggle
Cats make the bestest friends.

Shadowcat came up to the house as a tiny baby as someone had thrown him out. THey do it all the time on this street as people sometimes take them in. Anyhow my Eddy (husband) kept hearing him meow and meow as he was in the car shed trying to find something to keep warm. I told Eddy if he really wanted to make friends with him that he should use magic. He asked me what kind of magic and I handed him a can of tuna. LOL. I told him to put some in a dish on the front porch by the door and then come inside. He did this for three days and on the third day, Eddy scooped him up and brought him inside. He is Eddy's bestest friend.... besides me of course. giggle and he sleeps with us and is very protective. He is huge now. One of the biggest cats we have ever owned. He tolerates the baby. He misses his brother Zila who passed away in my arms 2 Thanksgivings ago. Zila was my heart. I rescued him when he was a couple of days old it seemed. He was barely able to stand up and covered with fleas. He walked up to me at my beauty shop as I was getting into the car. I had to practically drown him to get all the fleas off. After his bath, I just fluffed him up with my warm blow dryer. THen fed him with a doll bottle until he could eat on his own. It was a trip, saving that one, but he was my bestest friend for many many years.

Yeah, sorry. I love cats and sometimes don't know when to shut up. :)

Surprise! Woke up, checked the status of my USPS orders, and my AiV order arrived! It's undergoing a warm water bath, then I'll uncap them all and go to work tonight. Theoretically, tomorrow will be the first foray into tasting :) .... unless I can't wait and put something into a mini tank tonight before work.

No extra bottles (I have never gotten any in any vapemail as of yet), but three adorable cards, the personalized note, pretty silver charms on the big bottles (which is, truth be told, another reason I ordered some big bottles), the painted box, the playful packing confetti. It's like a mythological creature made real :D

^^^That^^^^ is exactly WHY I didn't pursue DIY!!!! AiV is my go to juice and I can't conceive of even trying to get close to their magic! So they're stuck with me as a regular patron, LOL!:)

Ok, you rabbit hole sliders!!!!

Need some assistance!

Did my first ever coil, a vertical micro for my PT2 rockin' on my ProVari.........

*THINK* I did 10 wraps of 30ga kanthol on a 18ga needle, tested it, 1.8-1.9 ohms......filled up a new PT2 with ZA and let 'er rip at 3.0v!

 forgot to wash the new PT2

It was amazing....minus the "factory ick" taste, no scorching/burning grommet or gurgling. Switched out the tank to a cleaned PT1, the "ick" is going away, butI think I will have to drop my nic (11mg) down! Major head buzz after a few vapes!

So any helpful hints? What seems like the ideal v/ohms for a 30ga wrap? And did I put enough wraps on it?

Not sure about wraps but I try for 10 wraps with my 29 gage and I shoot for 1.5 ohms...
