What I like most is that I have found nothing to dislike about the Alien. Love the size, battery life, fire bar, and menu system. Also think I am going to like having a few wattages set up in memory and can just scroll through those with the up/down buttons. Was considering getting another Alien, but am waiting on the new GX2/4 that Daniel @Djs reviewed and gave high marks for the dual battery configuration co9mpared to the Alien.

I bought the Alien 220 a few weeks ago. I am having issues with the lock/unlock screen, it works but a pain in the ...., there is 2 ways to do it, but it is a pain, I will call the vendor and get it fixed, it is just going to collect dust anyway sense I got my Tesla nano 120w today, it ROCKS.......
What issues are you having with the lock/unlock screen?

when I hit the fire button, it shows it is locked. click the fire button 5 times very quickly, do that 4 or 5 times with no results, so I hit the + and - at the same time, it unlocks. Every once in awhile, not many times it will unlock with the quick 5 clicks from the fire button, but 90% of the time I have to hit the + and -.

sorry to hear that, however I've had no such problems with my alien.. screen lock works perfectly pressing the two little - + buttons at the same time..
I don't ever use five clicks to lock or unlock the screen.. just the two little buttons..
to power off I hit the fire bar 3 times fast and then another 3 times slow to power on or off... that's the way I think I do it for I don't do it often.. seems I have to power on with 5 clicks on the fire bar every time I take the batteries out for a swap/recharge...
BTW, I ordered a couple gold Big BabyBeast tanks from SweetVapes yesterday.. bigger juice capacity than the BB featuring improved airflow, and I figure the gold tank should look good on my red and gold Alien.

I've had my Alien for the best part of 9 months now and have had no problems with locking with either method. I have to deal with essential tremors making repeated clicks difficult, so usually use the +- buttons. That is another reason I really like the fire bar, wrapping my hand around the mod so the fire bar is more in my palm rather then using my fingertips.

The easiest way for me to power off is lock it, then press and hold the fire bar while it is showing the lock until power off comes up, then release.

Small correction: Power ON comes up, then one more click of the fire bar changes it to off and in a few seconds, it shuts off.

I actually just go in to the main menu & click the power off button, I don't know why... Do it with all my smok mods for some reason, how did you get on with the v8 stick? Looks like a good mod for out an about.

The Stick V8 is just that. Works great when going out for a short time, a couple hours. And I do liked the feel of a tube now and then. It might just be me, but it seems the power decreases as the battery drains. It will not replace my dual battery adjustable mods, but great for grab and go.

Since I mainly wanted another BBB, I picked up the blue at just over the cost of the tank alone. Now I am Jonesing for the blue GX2/4 in blue. Then I will probably retire the stick and just go with the regular BBB coils.

Thanks for the input, I probably won't get it cos have a Tarot Nano for out an about an that's a great kit an tank :)
I'm not using my dual battery mods at the moment, my charge has given up the ghost an I don't wanna charge by USB :(

Let me know how you get on with that! Haven't checked that mod out yet...
