Alittle advice please

I need to carry 4 batteries, I have a plastic battery box. Now I am wondering if I can stack these batteries in the box.
Two in each slot, and if so, should I put the button tops facing each other or away from each other?

Now could I possibly put these 2 on top of each other in order to fit 2 more in this box?

In a plastic box they are fine to stack. You will basically be creating a larger battery but without making a complete circuit there will be no flow of electricity. (no heat, so sparks, nothing)

Try turning them sideways in that box. If it's like the one I have, 4 18350 batteries fit side by side.

I suppose just for the peace of mind that is an option if the dimensions are just right, but from an electrical stand point nothing is going to happen whether you stack 2 or 10 batteries as long as a closed circuit is not created.
