I don't care about grammar since I'm not getting graded by a teacher and would affect my life so why would I sit here and spell every word word for word ur just a idiot for doing that cuz u have to much time on ur hands . I'm busy don't got time to spell the words or whatever ur saying bout my grammar and if I did have time what does it even matter everyone got the point obviously . @Sparkler24, read that quote aloud, exactly as typed and see if it makes any sense whatsoever. At least use a grammar check. It's not because you are being graded. It's because it makes you understandable.

My only advice to you is to get a regulated mod with reverse battery protection. You have definitely proven your lack of ability to use any unregulated mod.

I think everybody is being a bit hard on the guy. People make mistakes. In this case, nobody got hurt. So do it right next time. Get motivated. Take care of your gear. Keep posting on the forums. Keep reading and watching videos. Become a subject-matter expert.

Building good coils is easy. Measuring resistances is easy. Mechs and other unregulated mods are easy. Inserting batteries in the correct direction is easy. Selecting good high-drain batteries is easy. A child could do this stuff. It just takes a small amount of will to want to do something correctly. Find the will and everything becomes so simple.

I agree with your second paragraph. We aren't launching rockets here. Unless someone is really, really stupid and vents a battery, turning their mod into a model rocket, or worse, pipe bomb.

As far as your first, if a person has the ability to find and post on an internet forum, they should also be able to find with relative ease the information needed to use their equipment safely. The failure to do so is ignorant at best, and I feel very little sympathy for those who fail to educate themselves.

There's a darned good reason we don't call it Ohm's loose guidelines. If you cannot or will not educate yourselves on Ohm's law and proper battery safety, stay away from any unregulated mod. Period.

your idealist leanings are showing. Ain't gonna happen unless govt makes it so by banning hybrid style mech mods and mandating fuses and such in all mech mods.
Some will still make their own or bypass fuses, etc.
Money to be made sellin klowd gear.
