Evening Folks,
I purchased to Janty 510 batteries in the starter kit about a week and a half ago, then got my XL battery a few days ago. Every battery is dead... they will not charge, no matter the length they are left on the charger. The charger light indicates they still need a charger after 4+ hours sitting. Is the issue with the batteries or with the charger? =/

I will be contacting the vendor today to see what they can do for me, I purchased from Janty and was told their products are quality so perhaps it was user error? Ethier way.. I like vapeing, but I hate the battery shuffle of the 510.. it completely kills the experience, and the crutch to have to wait on a battery charge.

So I bought the eGO.

I would suspect you are on the right track with contacting the supplier. Should not have all batteries dead at one time and someone on here can likely tell you how to use a
meter as to the charges you are getting; or lack thereof. Welcome to ECF and congrats on getting the EGo, a product with a good reputation.

Odds are it's a bad charger rather than all of your batteries going bad at the same time ... and contacting the vendor is the way to go.

Well this is a very odd turn of events..

So I have my order placed for the eGO ; but as of yet no response concerning my battery issues with the 510.

So thinking it was just odd to lose all my batteries on the same day.. I grabbed the charger. I decided that at the very least I wanted to open it up and look at the internal componets and see if any juice had gotten into ethier it, or the batteries.. I am a newb so I am bound to make a few mistakes. After removing the charger from its shell, I tinkered with it a bit, pluged it in to see if anything sparked, fizzled, etc. Not a darn thing, the led worked fine.. nothing I could see.

So I put it back together and plugged it in and popped a battery on. 5 Minutes later thinking I was still wasting my time.. I grabbed the battery threw it on a atty and listened... Baam, it fires up. Thinking it's a fluke I tried another battery, 5 minute charge and wham it fires up too. Granted it only had enough juice for a puff... it seems to be chargeing again.

Strange... Sad to say it, the problems with the charger and batteries made me go get analogs this morning, I hate them and the fact that I resorted to using them again when the 510 had issues is annoying. So I canceled all my orders for the spare parts on the 510, the pass, and pcc ... and instead am going to invest in a few extras for the eGO and save the rest for a future upgrade.

Throw the Analogs out now that its working. New learnig curve lol

I would! BUT -- It's not working again =/ So I reopened it up and I am half convinced that the insulation around the wire soldered onto the outer ring of the ( Peice that the battery screws onto ) thing, is grounding the charge out. Perhaps I am wrong.. but I've got the thing opened up and laying at just the right angle while it charges this time to see if it will pop atty.
If it does.. great I will just trim back the insulation and be good to go, otherwise I'm going to have to stick it out tell my eGO arrives.

The 'easy' fix to the 510 battery shuffle is to get a couple of kits (so you get a couple of chargers) and a PT with a USB/AC wall plug. Use PT when batts are on charge which shouldn't be an issue if you have 2 there should always be one off charge.
As for the eGO, I haven't much info on that model as I dont own one, but I know they are popular, does it have a PT for it?
