This has got to be the coolest thread on ECF at the moment... since I first started vaping, I've been concerned about a ban. A homemade atty? That works BETTER than anything coming out of China? Yeah, ban THIS, FDA....

If I had my own religion, I'd put Raidy up for beatification, I swear! Particularly for putting it out there for all of us to use...

My hat is permanently off to you, sir. Words cannot express my gratitude. If you're ever in the area, I'm buying all your drinks on Bourbon Street... and getting the hotel rooms... and the food... and polishing your shoes...

"The Big brown cigar"
Most of you want see more details from this cigar. O.K. here they are:

The cigar is made from 100% stainless steel. atty of course is a genisis. It is a screen mash 325, and a Kanthal-wire with a 0.16 mm. The cigar accu is a 18650, a true micro-switch and a storage tank 8ml.

The wooden cover i've made from a sound wood (hope translation is o.k.) on my drilling machine.

This atty is my invention. i give him the name genisis.
Good to see: The screen mash, the kanthal, the scews, and the "filler pipe"
The configuration of the atty (genisis) ist "for strong boys only"

Any questions?:2cool:

Yes! Plenty of questions! I'd love to see step by step by step construction details of some of your favorite mods with pictures!

I'm also interested in your charging systems and what batteries you like best, what voltages, what kind of charging circuits etc....

Why are the pipe bowls so huge or your pipe mods?

New to modding but have the bug now.... I'll be asking many more questions!

Mon Chéri,
the right one is called "mon cheri" the left one is called "Diamonds are a girl's best friends"

Indied is a 18650 3000mAh Accu and a own made FET-Circuit. Even the snap of the button is made of wood. It is a very small micro-switch, but he has to endure so no currents, since the FET switches the load. The left has touch sensors.

You mean 'Diamonds are a girl's best friend'. I guess that phrase holds true even in Germany hehe

How can you even use the smallest switch?
Everyone knows the problem. They want to use small switches, but could not withstand the current. This little circuit for much the same as $ 2 solves the problem. It is so sensitive that even a not too dry enough fingers to turn the atty. Or any small switch. The current on the switch is now less then 1/1000 mA.

I have made this post a separate thread, since the circuit can be used very universally.

What is the ohm.s that you try for in the atty coil?
I'm wondering if the SS wick needs a much lower resistance coil than standard?
For standard 510 atty @ 3.7 to 4.2 volts I like a 1.7 ohm coil but that's just me.
With my V.V. Brick I vape @ 4.4volts. and a 2.5 ohm atty.

I never heard that song. (till now). I am Cherokee, and the name is from the old joke about how non NDNs always want an NDN name (and seem to always use bear or wolf in some form).

An old white guy was sitting at the slot machine when the casino's NDN comedian walked past him after his show, and he asked him for an NDN name. So he named him Gummy Bear.

It loses a lot in my translation, but this is the original u-tube clip here at about 4:40
