Look at it this way. If you found a way to cure cancer, you would protect your find first with a patent and then sell it to the Pharma Co. that would give you the most benefit for your hard work and research.
While this is not on the level of a cure for cancer, these are his ideas and as such if he does not want to give them freely it is his right to do so. I know that Raidy has spent considerable amounts of his own money to develop this. Who are we to insist that he give the ideas to us freely. I am grateful for what he has shared with us already and if he wants to protect this new idea and make a commercial venture of it then more power to him.
