This is a lie! everyone i have vaped around said they can smell it. Not a bad smell, but definitely not odor free

You definitely have to be in an enclosed area to smell it, sort of a light sweet smell. I was in the car with a friend of mine the other day and started vaping - they said it smelled delicious...

I can smell it but its not 'odorous' its nice; so perhaps thats more accurate. The smell is very brief though (and mostly Ive found from the coffee type liquids) and a lot of it is 'from your breath' not from the actual PV/juice in it.
There's not usually an 'odor' from my PV but from ME! :D (Ok that sounds bad typed out..lol..I smell lovely!)

Your right and I believe that the websites should clarify that there is no "cigarette smoke" odor. Burning analogs, ashtrays and such are obnoxious smells as I think we would all agree but vaping, even though there is an "odor" it is not an offensive smell. At least, no one I have vaped around has ever complained. Most of them find the smells delicious.

Also depends on there smeller How well is there smeller working.
Some people don't notice the odor from elmers Glue.. I Do.
Some people are more sensitive to smells.

My Grandfather can not smell much anymore unless he gets a good wif of it. Specific times of day. He can't smell candy flavoring either. IE.. Open bottle shoved under his nose of bubble gum he can not smell.

We did an experiment the other day, popping on different V4L carts to see what people could smell. I didn't announce the flavor until after everyone had guessed (4 people).

Coffee and Cappuccino were noticeable and everyone nailed the flavors.

Menthol was noticeable, but not obnoxious, smelled sweet. One person said it smelled like juicy fruit gum.

Cola had no odor at all, no guesses.

Apple Cinnamon Cranberry apparently smells like Apple Jacks cereal, two people guessed that.

Cherry Jubilee smelled like Luden's Cough Drops.

He can't stand me smoking which I don't do anymore but he can't stand me using a PV either.
Wow, that's the most extreme I've heard thus far.
My DP says he can notice the smell, lightly. So, you're right, it's not "odor free". But I have vaped at work, around non-smokers, mere feet away, and no-one could notice anything. I have vaped in folks faces just to prove te point, and they said they couldn't smell anything.
Maybe hubby is super sensitive to scents? Or maybe it's a little psychological as well?
But if I had to vape in the bathroom with the vent on...well, you're a better person than I.

I think it depends on the brand and/or flavor

I vaped for 3-4 weeks using on V4L cartos and juices and everyone I asked said they couldn't smell anything.

Then I tried a few flavors from Liquidxpress and all of a sudden people started telling me they could smell it.

I agree with this. It seems some juices are nearly odorless and / or the vapor dissipates very quickly. Whereas, some juices, generally very flavorful ones, produce a slight yet generally pleasant odor and may take longer for the vapor to dissipate.

My wife can smell by tobacco vape and I can smell her Candy Cane. So? Neither one of us are blowing out that disgusting cigarette smoke.
Also, there is no way either of us would have ever not smoked an entire weekend because the other objected to the smell, smoker or not. You can always step outside. C'mon people.
Unless there is a definite health condition it looks like one just likes to impose their rules on the other, and they let them.

My wife & daughter tells me they can smell a very light mint when I vape cool rush from liquid Xpress. However I'm able to vape in the house , including in the bed, as before when I smoked analogs I had to go outside & when I came back in I had to wash my hands and face and could not go in the bedroom until the analog smell went away or the wife fell asleep.

My only problem with vapping now is that I can't use the "I'm going for a smoke break" to get outta doing something right away!!!!

Why not? I do. I still go out with the regular smoking crowd at work. I just bring my pv now. At home, I walk outside on my deck still. I'm still feeding my inner nico-monster.

Of course, I haven't even attempted to use my pv *inside* the office or my home, so if you do, I guess that would remove the need to excuse yourself....

I agree, there are some brands and flavors that don't have a smell and some that do.

I vaped in the movie theatre right beside my husband and he didn't even know I was vaping.
