Thank you GGERO and Di....... On the AFS Thread on page 15, Imeo did a video..... He basically said the 18650 was useless...... That is the way I took it anyway...... Could not hear his recommendation for some reason....... Maybe my computer could not get the audio......
I use the 3.7 18650 and the 2 X cr123a for 6.0 volts with my transformer....... I want to maximise the use of the AFS when I get one......

Can someone help me......
OK, Art, let's see if I can try and explain what he said / meant.
He was saying that he had found such high mAh CR123A batteries that you no longer need to rely on the 18650 for decent battery life. He was pointing out that this makes the whole thing with the AFS much smaller than using the large 18650 battery and maybe as a result of this, the 18650 will become obsolete.

At least I think that was roughly what he meant. :)

Lisa, my friend...... So, I am misunderstanding him again...... You are saying that both the CR123a 2 X 3.0 and the 1 X 18650 will still work effectively with the GG Transformer with the AFS attatchment....... Is that correct...... I hope so, cause I got tons of the CR123a's and 18650's....... Getting tired of spending money on things I don't need........

Wish I had not been so impatient and bought the Silver Bullet..... The GG Transformer is so much better...... Did not understand why....... Mr Grimmer explaigned it to me...... Never buy anything other than GG again......

I think he must have been referring to a 3.7v CR123A, NOT a 3.0v.

Well, you know now, at least. Some people wasted loads of money buying other PVs before discovering the GG. Glad you didn't make too many costly mistakes there, Art. :)

Art,
I was re-reading this thread and I noticed that I missed something in your earlier post above, because I was concerned more about letting you know that he was talking about using a single CR123A in the nano mode in his video.
In answer to your question, yes any of the current battery combinations will work same way with the AFS attachment because the AFS sits on the atty and does not affect the main trans unit itself.
I believe Imeo was merely pointing out that using the AFS in the nano mode is the smallest configuration and maybe one that people hadn't thought of, mainly due to poor battery life - but with 1300mAh batts, this is improved greatly.
I hope you know what I am saying because it feels like I am talking myself round in circles sometimes. 8-o

And Art, your days of wasting money either on cigarettes or on other modified PVs are over now. All the batteries you currently have will continue to be useful to you in your trans and in the telescopic if you intend to buy one in future.

yeaaaaaaaa!!!
:D:D:D told ya!

I think my days of looking at other mods are over for sure. The GG is really the Ferrari of PVs and nothing else can compare. I think my GG will be the last mod I buy at least until the next best GG comes out... lol..
