Well I'm going to grab some size 10 yarn tomorrow. I know Bob has played with the stuff, I'm sure he will chime in at some point with a better idea!

The size 10 is thin. I take one long piece and twist it a bunch of times. Then fold it in half, it will twist together and hold. Repeat. Untill you have the desired thickness.

Fantastic! I think that's what ill do with the nova and phoenix..its either that or I was just going to use a few strands and contain it within a small piece of SS before coiling..

Hey anavidfan...glad you came by. What saber are you waiting on?
I've been threatening to get one for over a year.
One of the others can answer your nova ?.....I've not seen one.
Hang around a while and let your I.Q. drop...lol..

Im waiting on a 3.7/6v saber touch. I hope its a beautiful as I designed it. Its all black and I cant wait to put all my tanks, vivi's on it. I ordered a black glass tank just for it, and a glass drip tip. They are made to order, so Im waiting patiently for it to get here. I got one with the special touch pad on the back of where the pulse button is, my hands are small I wont have to uncomfortably reach the metal on end caps to fire it up. He has also improved the pulse button so if your fingers are dry you wont have a problems.

Got the SmokTech RA tank yesterday. Unfortunately it screws down so far on my ProVari that it blocks airflow. Gotta get my hands on a 510-510 adapter. Tried it anyway by unscrewing it a little and seems to be pretty good. Definitely needs a little work so I'll try to get all mad scientist on it and see what I can come up with.

Hawk, will you be around Saturday at all? Looks like I may have a little time to venture out and get that twice dropped Phoenix from ya if you'll be available.

Yeah, I heard of people doing slots somewhere around the base, for airflow when using a Provari.. Unless I have that all wrong, that is, lol.

 I just ordered the smoktech RA last night...I use a Provari - am I going to have problems? I could always use my Turbo I suppose..... is there a link to how that tank was "slotted" somewhere?

From my understanding it sits too flush with the top of the Provari and wont allow any airflow. You could use a 510 adapter to bring the bottom of the tank up. I will see if I can't track down that info on slotting and post back here.

Thank you pittboss. I probably do have a 510 to 510 adapter around here somewhere....there's just so much STUFF! It's hard to stay organized...and too many new toys to try out.:)

Ok, well there are two ways to get better airflow when using this on a Provari.. The first is to slot the 510 threading vertically, through the threading, as well as the base of it next to the center post. Should be pretty easy as it's aluminum.

The second would probably be to solder the center post closed and drill a hole in the tube itself.
