This is My Office / Gaming Center, I Built this PC 3 years ago and haven't changed anything, I Run Windows Vista Ultimate and am Not Crazy about it at all but it does have some good advantages, Yes I guess I am a vaping Computer Nerd / Geek and Proud of It

vaping and gaming are a match made in heaven. many gamers hate to raid in WoW because when they need to smoke, they usually have to go outside or risk damaging their computers. now, they can vape and still dps, heal or tank.

as for mw2, between matches, i can vape for the minute fully and be satisfied til the next intermission. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!

Yes I did build it myself, 3 times to get it right, It is Water Cooled but is self contained

Motherboard is a Striker Extreme, So far it is doing good for me, I use the Provided options in the Bios for the Overclocking,, Nothing too extreme but it is Very Capable of Launching the Space Shuttle LOL JK, I actually have Overkill with the Airflow and I do that for the Dual 8800 GTS Video cards, The Bottom Video Card does not get the proper ventilation due to the construction of the case in my opinion but the added Airflow does Help

Extremely Good Points made as Smoking Analogs around Computers is Harmful to the Machines, and there is nothing worse than coming back to the computer to find you Got Fragged while you was trying to get in a smoke,,,, My Technique now is to Plant a Claymore,,, Crouch,,,,, and Vape lol

LOL,, Hey Drew,, I would say to rely heavily on reviews done by "PC Mag", "Cnet" etc, There is always going to be something bad to be said of something no matter what it is, as long as 2/3rds of what you read is Good you cant go Wrong, But definately do ALOT of Research due to the cost, Some Computer Builders will Build you a Computer pertaining to what you want to do with it, Ex. Minor Gaming, Internet, and Music vs Extreme Gaming, Internet, and Photos, Alienware makes Good PC's however you may be able to save some money By having one Built for your Individual needs,,,,

For Speed Focus on Processor and Ram (Memory)
For Reliability Focus on Brand Name Hardware,, Backed by Reviews of People and Not Organizations

READ, READ, and READ some more but first establish everything "IN ORDER of PRIORITY" what you intend on using it for and ALWAYS make sure that you can upgrade the Hardware and that there is room for such within the laptop.

My Advice/Opinion is to have one Built for your individual needs, It will save you money and deliver a fine product that you will get good use out of, I Hope Ive Helped ya out a little

Drew if You want to get a decent laptop and don't spend a ton get an ASUS G series.
They come with 3 years warranty and You will spend half the money...
Asus is rated number one in reliability this year...
Trust me I do build and repair computers for living...
And I won't always trust the cnet or pcmag or any of them for that matter...
Money talks.... Sadly in pc world as well... So whoever pay more to them those are the best to them...

I use a Razer mouse, too. I use a Deathadder because I play with a claw grip. I'd like to get a pad like that, but right now I just use a piece of notebook paper, lol. It's actually fairly useful, cause I can take gaming notes on it.

true black HS w/ dual fans - lapped
6gb corsair dominator
GTX295 rev1 (wish it was a rev2)
2x 150g velociraptors raid striped
1x 640gb sata HD for space...
just one 22inch lcd mounted on wall...

crap i had to mod on case & side fan:

i had a PC that i water cooled for a few years... fried 2 videocards because of leaks... i have a picture of it somewhere...

found it:

that was before i split everything into 2 loops (2 pumps, 2 reservoirs)... and put in the HD waterblocks - cpu, vpu, motherboard, and 2 hard drives were water cooled. only 2 fans on the entire setup... both blowing in.

that case was OLD when i started with it... i choped the hell out of that thing lol..


i'm curious to know what servers everyone plays on wow....

i started on Kalecgos, went to shandris i think... then went to Antonidas now

my DK on antonidas is "stacked" and my two old mains are 70 shadowpriest "flaygrant" and 70 rogue "idsapthat" <---best rogue name ever hahaha - shadowpriest is next to level... healers = ticket into better guilds.

Heres one i built about 4 years ago.. Took me a whole winter to finish it.



I took it down about 2 years later.. I'll post my newest one that i built after that.. its about 2 years old now.

Heres the last custom case i did.. I took an original mountain mods UFP case and removed all the sides and added custom panels for the layout i wanted.



My hardware is 4 years old now No time to play or money since having 2 kids. Loved making those custom cases though.
