If you want a good book to read about smoking addiction, give this a read. It has a cheesy name but, it does work if you follow the mind set. I read this a few years back and was able to quit Cold Turkey. I quit for around two years and was doing great and did not miss it. Then you get the feeling that “ Oh I have this thing licked” and you have a smoke for fun and then I was right back to smoking. I did not return to smoking my original M-Lights but switch to SS peach cigar cigs.
But, I still recommend this book as it gave me great insight as to why I smoked. I would also recommend this to a none smoker who has a spouse that smokes to get a good understanding of what is really going on when you are addicted too Nic and how to best support them.
The book does stress to Not use a Nicotine replacement because that is what you are addicted to, not the smoking.
Now comes along The E-Cig and That’s where my story is at now. The vaping chapter. More to come.........

Hello again. I am at 6 weeks of no smoking and I feel great! I love vaping and have converted some other smokers. I still find some smokers very afraid of quitting the cigs. This is why I recommend the book in my original post.

I have spent some money on getting gear and E juice but I think it has been worth every penny. I had health concerns about vaping when I started. I had itchy skin, sore mouth, my tinnitus started acting up, I didn’t sleep well but I seem to be past all that. Ya! It does get better.

I found I have had to spend lots of time figuring out how all the gear works. It is a little fiddly, and sometimes very fiddly but I enjoyed the learning curve. We all need to help out each other to get past these same issues. I found ECF to be very helpful to all beginners. If you are new to Vaping, Welcome to your future without Cigarettes!!!!

I started with an Ego Type A kit that I don’t recommend or any of the Joeytech Tank systems, They just plain suck and I wish they would not be sold. I would recommend getting the Ego Spinner 900 mAh batteries and Iclear 16 clearomizers to start on. I use these every day and I don’t have to mess around with this setup much.

E-juice is a challenge that I am still working on. The fun thing is there is so many to choose from. I have found some I like and some I don’t. I will not recommend any here. Just have fun looking!

You will be frustrated when you start but just jump in and start. Enjoy every day you don’t smoke. I wake up with a smile and a kiss from my wife who likes the way I smell now.

I am getting a Vamo today and a rebuildable atomizer, my next step and I will talk about that later…..

That might help some folks but, for me at least, vaping has been the only answer and I've tried them all. I've actually quit at least 20 times but always fell off the wagon. I can honestly say that I don't have that worry with vaping. I'm slowly weaning myself off nicotine and may eventually be nic free however I doubt I'll stop vaping. Too much fun!

Yep. I've read Alan Carr's book 3 times. Good book. Helped me. But...

I still went back to smoking after awhile.

Also I used the website whyquit.com. It helped me too. But...

I still went back to smoking.

Vaping now for over a year. I had 1 cig last month & 1 cig this month. I'm improving. :)

Vape on. Bullette says woof!
