What size allen fits a 2.0mm grub screw? The smallest I have is a 1.27mm, and it's too big. Grrrr.

If you have multiple attys, a set of mini hex drivers is a good investment. I much prefer them to the L shaped hex keys. Hudy are probably the best, although a little pricey. I generally change all my attys to hex grub screws, when possible. I prefer them over the Phillips screws that come with some attys.

The era/hornet/cyclone and nuppin (maybe others?) All use the same Hex head Alan key.

I have a set of Weras. Not as good quality as Hudys, but they serve the purpose.
Can some oneplease tell the size hex (grub) screws that are most commonly used in rda's. I need to order some but not sure of the sizes. Thanks.

Thanks for that info. I have been looking at the hex drivers available on Amazon. There are various sizes such as ,9mm, 1.5mm etc. The .9mm seems oriented to hex screws in the mini helicopter kits. It this a good size for most rda grub screws? or should I try to get the .9 and 1.5 or 2mm.? or in your sizes above do I need to get a 2, 2.5, and 3mm drivers?
I'm currently looking at this. It has all the hex sizes you would need. .9mm, 2.0mm, 2.5, 3.0mm, ect. I'm also gonna call the local hobby shop later when they open for a .9mm. If you have a hobby shop near you that carries parts for rc equipment, they might have what you need. The rm2's, igo-s, and igo-w takes a .9mm. Everything I have seems to take the .9mm for a 2.0mm screw.

I also ordered the grub screw packs from FatDaddy. I asked them if they were flat bottoms and they said they were, but when I got them they were cupped point. So be careful what you order when it comes to grub screws.
Thanks oplholik, I guess I will order the .9mm driver then and give that size a try first. They are pretty expensive for just ordering a number of varying sizes, Expensive at least for the better quality ones.
Yeh, the good uns are expensive, altho a good one you would probably buy once, instead of a cheap one that will wear out.

I only have one atty that uses a .9mm driver; the Nuppin. For my other attys, the 1.3mm, 1.5mm, and .05" (for American made attys), are the ones I use most.
