rusalka, do you use any flavorings, sweeteners, nicotine content, and if so, which base is your nic in? Is both your PG and VG USP grade? It could be any number of things, including something totally unrelated to
vaping, but that just happened to coincide with starting DIY. My suggestion would be to break it all down to one ingredient at a time and start ruling them out. Try vaping 100% PG with no flavorings for a few days and see if it makes any difference. Then switch to 100% VG with distilled water to thin it out. If neither of these change the problem, start looking at outside sources and make sure you are getting enough water throughout the day. If both solve the red eye then it may be your flavorings. I think VG allergies are unusual, but I did read somewhere that if you are allergic to palm kernel or coconut then you may also be allergic to VG, as those are the usual sources for production of VG.
