My vaping buddy just got a small shipment of these in.

My first impressions:
Ton of Airflow - Dual 3/4" or so air slots. Closed just about all the way is nearly perfect for my MTL vaping style.

Flavor - Plenty.

Top Fill - Erlkonigin Style - CLOSE THE juice CONTROL FIRST.

Juice Control - Turn the drip tip

Drip Tip - Fits standard 510, but needs the Alleria drip tip or tool to work juice control.

Glass Combustion Chamber - Too cool. :)

I'll update after I've vaped it a bit more... So far this thing is awesome.

Is it a 23mm? That deck looks nice.
I don't have a caliper and I don't think Augvape has posted specs, but I'm 99% sure it's 23mm (or 22.9, 23.1). It's almost as wide as Kayfun clone on the left. A good bit wider than the subtank mini. Slightly hangs off the edge of my VTC mini and fits flush on iStick 50w.

And yes, the deck is quite roomy and a dream to build on for the two builds I've done so far. It also hasn't flooded / leaked at all even though i'm running a single coil on the double coil deck. They really should include a single coil plug kit like the Goblin Mini. Although if it doesn't leak without it, I'm happy not having to fiddle with it or have another "spare part" to keep track of. :)

After a few days and a few builds I'm still loving this tank.

A few observations:

Pay close attention to the top fill orings while cleaning. Very easy to lose these.

Machining is good. The knurled edges are a small bit sharp and the threading is smooth.

Came clean out of the box. I didn't clean before using and no off taste.

Holds 3-3.5ml of juice.

Comes with a spare glass tank, allen wrench for the deck screws, and all replacement orings.

You can remove the deck without draining the tank "subtank style."

Hows the build quality on it? Im wondering because when I look at the sixth pic you posted the left hand post looks like there is a lot of flashing left from drilling the holes... seems the production lacked a bit of attention to detail. But otherwise it does look pretty cool...

Needs claptons

But looks awesome.

Where'd you get that? I want one.
I got mine from a local guy I talk to regularly about vaping. We'd been talking about them for a while so he hunted them down and bought a few straight from Augvape for a small group of us. Presumably, the above is from the first production run (that's serial # 8, so I'm guessing it's one of the very first if it's a true serial number). I read somewhere to expect them to start showing up in the usual places after the Chinese holiday is over mid-February.

I noticed that when I took the picture. I looked at the deck and didn't see anything. Shook the base, banged it on my desk, blew through it. Nothing. Could be flashing, could be a sasquatch. :)

The only thing I've noticed other than that is that the knurled edges are a tiny bit sharp. Sharp is probably a harsh word, but they could be smoother.

Hmm... don't think I'll be able to resist this one. There's just something about being able to look at the coil/wick through the tank that seems like it'd be cool - especially if you're rockin' some fancy coils.

Totally agree, and another thought that came to me was .....this would be a good tool in teaching those new to vaping (rebuilding / rta's) about wicking, I mean, if you can see all thats going on inside the tank during use I know I would have learned some important lessons much quicker. Add in the reduced risk of shorts and it seems like that this maybe the Ideal atty to point newer vapist to. Just my humble thoughts.

I never thought of that. However, being able to see the wick I "self-taught" myself how far to open the juice control based on the color and saturation of the wick -- this thing will go from completely closed to "your coil is totally submerged and juice is flowing out the air holes into your lap." FWIW, I was running .6 Ohm / 25W with the juice control open 1/2 turn.

Dangit, I want to see this thing firing with some claptons.
I was going to oblige you. Having never used a clapton, I have none on hand. But I'm always willing to try something new. Dropped into my local B&M looking for a pre-made. $7.50 each, $15.00 for a pair. Wow. As per the kid behind the counter "because of the amount of wire it takes to make one." I tossed some in my fasttech cart for my next order though.

As a consolation, below is another tank pic on my friend's Slug.

The other video / pic I want to make is dry firing the coils inside the tank (red glowing monster atomizer). I started to, but then thought twice about the heat possibly cracking the inner glass. It doesn't ship with a spare inner glass and I haven't had it empty and near a caliper at the same time yet to see if it's a common glass tube or not.

I did verify that the outer tank dimensions are 23mm x 62.5mm (with the drip tip).
