Bought a kit a few weeks back but still kept going back to the regular cigs. Went back xmas eve and got juice w higher nicotine (18 mg) and so far so good. Slight jonesing at work today, but trying me damnest to stay on track. This is my full second day and my first beginer post
RB you might want to go higher than 18 mg try 24mg vapor takes longer to get nic in your system than smoke you may need to compensate for that .

    Welcome aboard, rbmatl!

If you have made it this far, then you are well past the point of no return. :) You will have cravings from time to time. When you do, turn to your trusty ecig, and the cravings will pass quickly. It does take some effort, but it's nothing compared to cold turkey, patches, or gum. If you do end up caving in and actually having a cigarette, and don't beat yourself up about it. Vaping is more about all the cigarettes you have AVOIDED smoking, rather than the few cigarettes you end up smoking from time to time. Also, you may be pleasantly surprised at how bad cigarettes really taste and smell once you are away from them long enough.

Let us know what ecig you are using and what juices you like. We are happy to offer advice and answer any questions or concerns you may have. Definitely keep reading through the forum. Knowledge is power. Keep on vaping! :vapor:

Good job brotha! We quit July 4th of this year and haven't looked back since. Started with 18mg and no issues. Now, we're down to 12mg and next year will be 6mg. Keep at it. We can't stand being around cigarette smoke anymore..and we were smokers for over 20 years! Yes, it happens that fast. Now, we have a cool, fun and relatively inexpensive new hobby and have tried dozens of juices!

It's a blast. Keep at it.
