I'm glad he quit and I'm surprised he could breath after 9 packs a day. If I smoked 9 packs in 3 days I'd be in the hosp. for sure. PS the Marines Rock.

If you read the responses after the article, yes nine packs, sometimes a whole carton. Up nineteen hours per day, he says that some days he only lit the first one. War is what war does.

Edit:My dad is a painter for the government/private contractor.He smokes 5 packs a day.The reason he smokes 5 packs a day is he smokes half a cig then goes back inside to work.So, on average he may actually smoke 2 packs a day by way of smoking half or less of each cig.

Pretty even-handed news coverage. A few mistakes ("water vapor" isn't completely accurate and Njoy isn't proven any safer than Chinese ecigs, nor are they made entirely of US/Britian-made parts.)

If he's speaking of SE vs. FDA, then that's not entirely accurate, either.
