I modded my E-Power 18650 and removed the stock PCB and wiring. I installed a 3-Pin 5V regulated in the housing, using the switch housing as a whole as the heatsink (doesn't get too warm). I drilled vent holes in 4 locations around the parameter of the switch/cap/atty connector housing. I used a 1mm Tactile Switch on a PCB with a simple 3-pin 5v regulated circuit to send 5V to the atty connector. The unit will now fire anything. I love the E-Power.

=] My next project is to take an 18650 NoEgo and replace the switch internals with a mosfet switch for strait up 3.7 battery power to the atty. I will put pics and such up when I do it but it will still probably be a while... Too many irons in the fire. However I do want it done by the 17th as I have to travel for work =]

I just wish the old style switch body would take solder better. I hate the press fit end caps, they never go back on well and I would prefer to epoxy the end on. May just make a circuit board end cap instead with a spring contact to the body.

Why bother with a mosfet, especially if you really want full power to the atty. Lotsa nice high quality switches that will fit.

because I have a whole handful of mosfets and tach switches on the workbench. No high amp switches on hand.:D
