Altered Taste with the Joye 510 Cartomizer

I have just received my order for the 510 cartos...both reg size and the XL.....I filled the reg size with my usual juice and it tasted horrible. I tried it on my 510 e cig then on my ego....still, the same horrible taste!

Then I decided, well, I'll try a new carto and a different juice....same crappy taste! etchhh!

I then tried the mega/xl carto....yep...you've guessed it...that same crappy taste! Has anyone else come upon this issue with the Joye 510 cartos? I really wanted these to work well....I had decided to purchase them from the good reviews from some of the members on this forum.

Anyways, if you have any other recommendations, I would appreciate it!

You did remove the two caps from the mouthpiece and below it, then punctured the fill hole with a needle (or some spikey thing) before filling I hope. They can be a bit of a trap as mine came with no filling instructions.
If I hadn't known better I possibly would have filled the air-chamber with juice instead. Therefore the filltank would be empty and the atomizer would be starved of juice, making it taste like glutimus maximas.

Yes, I followed the correct 'procedure' to fill a carto...so I have no idea why it has a bad taste. Could it be a bad batch? IDK, the cartos were 2 separate orders, but, from the same distributor, which has a good rep. Thanks again!

Sorry I couldn't help. Mine work quite well but tend to slow wick a little after a few (5 or 6) quick drags. I've used various juices and they all have been OK. Maybe someone else might have a better idea.

i got some joye 510 cartos u have to fill with a needle from liberty flights. after filling and taking about 4-5 min between the first 15 toots where perfect. after that so far the 5 i have tired all taste like melting plastic

I've been dealing with the 510 cartos from GP and apparently haven't been filling them correctly. I didn't know you had to puncture the inner chamber and I was "filling up the air chamber" with juice. No wonder it all ran out the atomizer and tastes like burning plastic! Already ruined one that way...
