Can you suggest other vendor(s) that carries "Volt" and compatible items?

(The problem with Smokeless Image is that I cannot get them to process/ship my last order; apparently they are having some kind of bottleneck. I cannot get any answer from them, no response to "tickets" and calls... and a couple of times I did get through to customer support the answers were not truthful. Quite upsetting since it all started so well... and "Volt" worked much better than I expected---thus I would like to stick to this type of technology, just from a responsible vendor. Now it comes to either going back to "analogs" or finding a alternative.)

Thank you!

I believe they have Fixed the problem. Everyone seems to be reporting that they are getting notifications as of Sunday. I placed an order on Saturday and I received a notification Monday morning that's it's shipped.

You can email the forum rep directly at Imagine@smokelessimage.com

Just Google search for Bloog Max Fusion or Halo G6 and you will find the same models as Smokeless Image sells. I believe Bloog Max Fusion was on the market before Volt. Good luck. Or, you can search for KR808D-1 ecig and find many vendors with essentially the same equipment.

Bloog is the same as the Volt but branded differently. right now they have non-sealed automatic batteries for $7.95, which i actually prefer to the sealed ones. Better throat hit. Their cartos are also identical, but can't comment on the flavors (I fill my own).

Also, SI is still shipping orders within 24 hours or so. They're having issues with their e-mail confirmations but I've placed several orders over the last few weeks, and received my shipments 2 days later, eventhough the status of my order said "Pending"

I do agree that they have been pretty unresponsive to e-mails. growing pains......

I think as of Sunday they email confirmation issue is fixed.

If you don't want the volt, go with the bloog. It is a little more money, but the next cheapest. Halo g6 is also the same but much more expensive.

Stay away from those bloog batteries that are on sale though. They are the old technology, unsealed ones. If you get any juice in them, they're toast. Only use those if you are going to use prefilled cartos and not refill them. It's not worth it. Make sure you get the sealed batteries, no matter where you purchase from.

Mr outlaw do you run volt or something just about every post has you on here.

Nope, just very happy with my volt products. I have made it a mission to help people stop smoking and I truly believe that the best way to start vaping is with a good mini. I went through so much garbage before finding smokeless image, and I try to help people not go through what I did. Halo and bloog are just as good, I recommend the volt because of the price and customer service.

I also recommend the ego twist and kgo to people who are ready to step up in their vaping experience. But like I said, for a new vaper, i feel like something that looks and feels like an analog is the easiest thing to make the transition with

What makes the Volt or Bloog special is that they are sealed and regulated at 3.6v.

Most other 808-D1 batteries are nither sealed nor regulated. A couple of drops of juice can destroy them and while they start off vaping well off the charger, after a few puffs the voltage dropps and continues to drop as you vape away leading to underpowered performance.

Unless they are sealed and regulated....stay away from those older generation batteries. They just aren't worth your time.

I have volts (love 'em) and have had V4L too - and they still work 2 years after the fact, but the issue I think (besides the threading 808d-1) and the small form factor- is the cartomizer. That's what makes the volt different. Good Prophets carries the Kanger horizontal coil cartomizers at a better price point, as I'm sure there are other vendors as well. It's not the battery, it's the cartomizer construction.

Mike20212, I am brand new to the whole vaping thing and have only dealt with SI. I placed my second order with them on Monday, 2 days ago, and did not get an email confirmation. Today, Wednesday, I opened a ticket, and had an answer within 4-6 hours. The rep stated that they are having ongoing software issues with regards to email confirmations. She provided me with my tracking number which confirmed that my order was shipped on Monday afternoon. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for all the info and links!

First, on SI: I actually got my "dope" and in time -- their problem is that the website order tracking is messed up, but they do process orders.

Since I was not sure if SI's package is coming, I ordered 802 D1 supplies from another vendor (myvaporstore)... the liquid was fine, but what was wrong with cartomizers I cannot understand: they look like the right ones, screw on just fine, but I could not get any vapor out of them whatsoever, even adding more eliquid did not change anything. "Inside" of the cartomizers is a bit different, but it seemed they should still work. Don't. Weird.

Altsmoke for supplies in case of trouble -- thank you for this!

---

If I may, one more question to Volt users: what kind of run are you getting from the battery? I had it for about a month now, seems to be functional (but had to be cleaned up), ... I guess one must have a second one on hand all the time?

Also... I tried a bypass battery from them... actually seems to produce better vapor than a battery. More power? Does this mean that a stronger battery would work better?

Hiya, to answer one of your questions, yes, Volts are now also being sold here by Altsmoke.

Smokless Image and Altsmoke both have the same address and probably the same owner. At least the person who answered my first SI ticket has the same name as the Altsmoke owner. One basically specializes in 808 threading while the other 510 and both have sub forums on ECF. Bloog, Halo and several others are the same technology as Volt, 2nd generation regulated batteries, while unless they've changed V4L uses the old unregulated technology mentioned earlier in this thread. I've never had a second generation auto battery accidentally fire due to noise or wind, or any other reason for that matter and no primer puff is necessary with standard cartos and fairly thin niquids. I've been using 2nd generation for over a year and much prefer autos in this size battery but manuals in the larger ones and APVs. There have been several situations described in the OP, including one of my own lately. I hope it got resolved for you.

Just to poke my nose in here for a minute... I have 6 Bloog unsealed batteries, most are my originals from well over a year ago. All are still going strong and I refill cartos all the time. You just have to use good sense after filling and make sure you haven't overdone it and wipe off any extra that might have come out the bottom. Not a big deal. Sure, the sealed ones are now safer from sloppy filling, but unsealed are just fine too.
