Now your lower then there agree'd price

Your trying to push the small dogs out.

you need to fix that & if you wish to compete with the guys that arent out to ream everyone Lower your prices to match them.

You dont need to control the market
this is not about competition
its about helping each other.

stop reaming people & i could mention how much all your supplies cost to everyone on here.
Its not just you guys at altsmoke its a few other bigger dogs also.

Sell Quantity not high price

i use to believe in e-cigs and supporting all the vendors
now I will continue to go with the smaller dogs instead of bigger dogs. I just dumped my cart from altsmokes earlier today cause of this stuff
and ordered from 5 other places of a order of over 500
for a few of my friends.

Who are their distributors? Are you suggesting that we e-mail them and ask?

From what I've seen, there are dozens and dozens of PV wholesalers in China. While it is certainly possible that a large customer or two have encouraged their distributors to set a minimum mark-up, it's unlikely that they were successful with every major manufacturer, much less with the minor ones.

Digital cameras do have pricing like this but it's set by the manufacturers, not the retailers. They don't want price cutting wars to make their products less valuable. Despite this, small retailers survive, giving better service or whatever.

Also (and this is not directed only at you) posts like this would be a lot easier to understand if posters would take the time to learn the difference between there, their and they're.

Translating from "#$^$&$^%#^" into English can be difficult. I'm not bothering to read the new versions but the posts that I responded to seemed to say that OP has been in touch with several unnamed wholesalers who accidentally let it slip that AltSmoke and a few other large vendors (who are also nameless) have put pressure on said wholesalers. They must require all other clients to sell their products at a specified minimum or above. This will allow AltSmoke and the other anonymous websites to undersell them, thus driving these smaller companies out of business.

Very bizarre....

Altsmoke is one of the big dogs? With basically 1 guy (Rob)? and his 1 guy manufacturer of mods (all 3 of them)?

Prices? Altsmoke seems to be right at or below average on prices. Not the lowest price you can find, maybe 10% over on single packs and maybe 2% or less than 5% over on quantity. Lol, 3 or more is "quantity" most of the time. I'm willing to pay a tiny bit more for consistently stellar service and someone I have total trust in buying stuff from.

I don't see a whole lot of altsmoke advertising, I don't see a lot of altsmoke promotions, I don't see a lot of altsmoke exclusives, ... I have a hard time imagining Rob does any real volume to put him in the "big dog" league. ESPECIALLY to be big enough to strong arm manufacturers to price fix???

"Hello, this is Rob/Altsmoke. If you don't agree to price fixing on my terms I'm going to drop my prices through the floor long enough to put you out of business"... Bwahahahaha. next thing you know he'll be putting the fix in with the Chinese government to put the screws on Joye.

I'd find it very entertaining if he leaves your posts up but sadly I suspect ECF will whack you. Let us know if ECF is in on the fix too

1 guy can start something small & make it bigger
quantity matters
if you order high quantity you can make manufactures put a pinch on smaller shops.

Are you serious? I can't imagine the volume you'd have to do to have that kind of leverage. What I see here (US) are a boatload of small "mom-and-pop"/startup size internet businesses and a few maybe midsized ones. TW is the only one I would imagine to be considered large and they're international. Am I totally naive here?

I've placed one, small order with AltSmoke in 6 months. The price was competitive but not amazing. The service was good. I've basically settled in with a couple of suppliers who are better for what I usually want but I wouldn't hesitate to use AltSmoke again if the occasion arose. But to call Rob one of my "buddies" (as OP did in the forum of the other supplier he's... upset with) does seem a little far fetched.

And TW is actually a fairly expensive vendor. You pay for the name and the logo -- like buying designer clothes.
