I am not sure what to say here, anyone knows wholesale and volume pricers are lower than retail. Most Chineese manufactures are capable of 100,000 plus units a month. I can't see any of the suppliers here buying that amount of stock to persuade any manufacture to set any type of price. Seems to me one of your "buddies" is upset about a certain product Altsmoke sells? Maybe I am wrong? Manufactures are known to set minimum retail prices, this is usually to protect thier "vendors" or distributors from competeing against one another, thus the manufacture would loose sales as well if one were to be put out of business. I always thought I was in business to make money and recover my expenses, not to loose money........

....EASTMALL
is 1 place

Eastmall is in China right? and sell internationally and mainly over there. I suppose they could be doing really large volume. Wouldn't Altsmoke be one of the small dogs they would be trying to put out of business?

SLB hell you guys so stupid you dont know who they buy from?

SLB is where Altsmoke buys from? Ok... that who makes the atomizers right? where else would they buy from?

im just going thru small guys now after this.

ummm, like who?

1 guy dont mean ....
1 guy can run a multi million dollar business.
1 guy can start something small & make it bigger

multi million dollar business? you think he's got a warehouse of elves packing orders?

quantity matters
if you order high quantity you can make manufactures put a pinch on smaller shops.
equaling them into the big dog league...

What kind of quantity are we talking here?

SLAM ME ALL U WISH
I DONT GIVE A FLYING FOCK

If you really don't care, and you already threw these posts up, you probably wouldn't mind naming some names and numbers now would you? You don't seem to be doing any of that.... odd.

it's only the middle of the month. you're out of meds already?

Only thing new is that Riva kit? You think someone was planning on launching their startup business on the Riva and thought they had an exclusive on it?
I doubt it. Sounds to me like this guy should start his own company and charge cost on everything. Then when he looses everything he has in one customs siezure come tell us about it.

He unloaded on Geoff (Tasty Vapor) about an hour ago about some juice he got 2 months ago? basically incoherent there too.

Both of this dudes threads are giving me a headache. But I can't stop reading because its making me laugh too much. ...WTF? I swear when I first joined ECF stupidity like this would have been nipped in the bud by a mod... Then again poor spelling, improper word usage and partial sentences that make no sense aren't a crime. Being a "BIG DOG" is!! ;)

Here's my take on this situation. No, Altsmoke doesn't have the "greatest" prices, but they are on the level with other vendors. What they do have that some others do, most dont, is an extremely personal customer service program. They will go out of their way to help in any way possible, even by phone! And of course they make top tier mods, that ARE priced extremely competitively and in my opinion, worth the money that they charge for them. Given the number of owners of the SB, the BB and now the Omega, they must be doing something right. And for the price that they do charge for these mods, and the number of them sold, I'm sure they are making some decent money, and that's what business are supposed to do, sell a product for a fair market price and at the same time, make money for themselves. I'd say Rob has the right idea going here. I know I will continue to use Altsmoke, and I'm sure others here will say the same.

Ahhh I think I understand now:

First Off, when looking into wholesale pricing. Don't be blown away by that awesome number especially if you're looking into starting a business. I don't think people fully appreciate the pricing structure.

-Add 5%-30% for shipping, depending on the item and qty.
-Be prepared for items to get stuck in customs/destroyed.
-Be prepared to pay 2-17% tariff tax.
-Don't forget about Taxes (Woohoo!),Fed Taxes, State Taxes, and Local Taxes (The Killer right here, a lot of the vendors that sell items for barely any markup havent paid this or are not planning on paying these)
-Failure Rate, get used to it.
-Trying to get a DoA Item warrantied by the mfg. FORGETABOUTIT, just chalk it up to a loss
-Credit Card Fees (takes a % based upon each card used)
-Returned Items/Reshipping DoA Items, the shipping doesn't get magically applied again, it's a loss, as well as the ink, paper, labels.
-'Phantom Packages', Charge Backs, and 'Not my item return' (have gotten TW Atomizers back, kind of odd lol)
-Plus the hours of support, staying up late to order, getting up early to pack orders.
-Paying for Packaging Supplies, Ink, Paper, Bubble Wrap, Postage Services, Phone Line, Monthly Accountant, Web Hosting, Processor Monthly Cost.
-It helps to be a workaholic

On a side note:
I don't know how I'm suppose to pushing the 'small dogs' out. First you say that it is because we sell prices lower on some items, than you complain that we dont sell prices low enough.

Also: I wouldn't be surprised if you're mixing us up with another vendor, wouldn't be the first time this has happened and sure it won't be the last.
