I dunno what's going on the last week, after about 2 months vaping. I'm starting to lose the craving for the liquids I once did. They're all starting to taste the same, with obvious distinguishing differences, I'm just getting unsatisfying vapes all the time now. I'm starting to dislike the general feel of the vapor in my throat, especially near the nasal passage. I think it might be the PG because I still gravitate towards 100%VG liquids from alien vision, but none of my equipment can handle it that well. I'm just vaping compuslively and not enjoying it all that much.

My attys are all gunked up, and I can't clean them because I don't want to buy vodka for personal reasons. Vivi nova's always getting wonky and leaking, kanger t3 either leaking or giving meh vapor. And I spent about 3 times the amount I would on analogs so can't keep buying more. On the plus side I think my health is improving a bit, I can run longer, but I have this weird pain in the inside of my chest which may or may not be related to vaping, since it something I used to get rarely before smoking, but few nights vaping seemed to directly make it works (switching liquids seemed to help).

I don't know, I really want to stick to this thing and eventually cut down to 0 nicotine like I planned. But it's getting harder. I've still got some WTA to pick up tomorrow and some 100%VG from heathers on the way, so I hope that will make the experiences more enjoyable. For now tho I don't even wanna look at these tanks :(

You can use rubbing alcohol to clean everything. It dose a better job IMO It has no water in it and its cheaper. VG is thick Ive never vaped 100% VG I like 70/30 mix Im sure there is threads discussing people who like all VG and ways to mod you equipment and or things that work better with 100% VG
If you think you ca stop Vaping and not go back to smoking go for it but if its just the tobacco addiction calling to you Just stick with vaping weather youve lost some enthusiasm or not.

I hit the wall at the two month mark too. My taste buds seemed to flatten out and nothing tasted good. I think our bodies and psyche both go through a transition from all the chemicals we are no longer feeding them.

The other factor is that the initial excitement of finding vaping and switching wears off, and we want more of it. I hope you find some new flavors and blends that you enjoy and make you feel good as well. It has to be more pleasurable than the patch, or gum, or pharmaceuticals - you can vape through this!

In the meantime, a little BB King

On a side note, vinegar might help clean those coils. Good luck!

Maybe you are ready to Quit e-Cigarettes?

I many ways I Envy you. Because I have been think lately how much longer I want to keep Vaping?

My goal was to Quit Analogs. The Quit e-Cigarettes. I didn't put a Time Frame on either. But lately I have thought that maybe quitting e-Cigarettes is something to start considering.

If all of your juice delivery systems are gunked up, all of your juice would taste bad. Hopefully after a good soak in vinegar or alcohol will thoroughly clean them and the juices will start tasting good again. Keep trying different flavors or even adding a menthol or cinnamon to the mix to shake those tastebuds up. Just don't give up on the vaping. Also drink gallons of water.

Somewhere out there
High VG gives that heavy chest feeling, I can't tolerate high VG, makes me feel aweful! I use around 70 PG/30 VG and can handle that. But I know the feeling that nothing quite tastes right, I go thru that from time to time and then I back off of vaping a bit. I still vape daily but just not for as long of a period of time. That may help bring back your taste buds along with cleaning your equipment. Good luck! bnrk

I went through this around 3-5 months into vaping. I think it's just your taste buds are waking up. I powered through it with unflavored for about a month and eventually everything worked out, but the flavors I fell in love with when I began vaping no longer tasted the same to me and were, frankly, pretty gross. YMMV

Chest pains happened with the first liquid I bought. I stopped using it (and never bought from that vendor again) and never had a problem again. I think he put something in it, it was all VG but he used something to thin it down that was irritating my chest.

There's plenty of ways to clean gunked atties. I always found mouthwash to work well back when I used them. Eventually you'll hit a sweet spot and you won't have to buy as many items (unless you want to)

For the past two years I've only been buying flavorings, nicotine, PG, VG and replacement cartos, but I DIY to keep my costs down.

Well not all, I have about 30 new cartos laying around. But they're just a hassle to get the flavor to full potential, I end up using them like an atomizer to get full flavor. I clean the gunk and all but it's such a hassle again, I barely used this stuff to justify so much maintenance. The flavors all taste good initially but I can only tolerate 3 out of the 50 I have currently without hating them :( I have a decent range too, rawrvapor, AVE, epipemods, upstomp etc etc

I'm definitely not quite ready to quit, I still give in to one analog a day, not because so much of the craving but I just feel very hollow if I tell myself I'm not gona smoke again, if that makes sense. If I was over analogs, I could probably give up e-cigs in a heartbeat. Nicotine itself doesn't seem to be a psychological addiction.

You know what is wierd is when I decided to start vaping and stop smoking it was partly because I had hit sort of the same bored with smoking thing. I didn't taste my analogs anymore. I didn't really enjoy them anymore. FOr about 6 months every time I went out to smoke I thought to myself this is completely stupid why do you keep doing this if you are getting nothing out of it.

Then I found ecigs.

Every now and then my tastebuds do seem to go on strike. I just swap flavor to something strongly flavored and radically different for a tank or 2 and so far that seems to fix it. I have no doubt that if I ever hit the bored with vaping point like I did with Analogs I will walk away from vaping too (and not go back to Analogs). No idea how long that will take.

I learned over the years I am just one of those people that when I am done with something, I am done with it. I walk away and don't look back. Just might take me awhile to be THAT done with it ;)

Actually it's funny I had a similar experience. Lately cigarettes have lost all good effect for me, I just go crazy at the idea of not having my crutch anymore. But yeah they lost the appeal. I hope I can do that with cigarettes too. I was addicted to games for about 3-4 years once, then one night I said "this is a waste of time" and couldn't ever focus on one for longer than 30 minutes since.

Is it possible that your current nic level is not high enough? You may need to increase it for a while to make it more satisfying and you won't have a need to chain-vape. You could be trying to lower your nic level too fast, hence the need for that one analog.

Another thought... maybe most of your juices are similar, like too many sweet flavors or too many fruit flavors, etc. Try one that is totally different than what you currently have.

I really hope you find a solution that will work for you soon. :)

I've mostly been vaping 24mg but found it gives me jittery feelings and a slight headache, so I keep at 18. I do vape more at 18 but I'm a bit worried of going back to 24mg fulltime. I still have about 10 bottles and 1 32mg for backup but it really makes no difference.

I mostly vape tobacco flavors, but I have a bunch of fruity ones from RAWR and some cinnamon/dessert flavors too. I don't think there's much left other than better quality juices :(

Try sticking to the dessert flavors! Get away from the tobacco flavors. Think of vaping as a treat, oh yeah, clean your equipment.

I'd like to say something that would be a real head slapping moment for you like "Oh yes, of course..." but I'm not sure I can.

1) I like to use a carto tanks (tube tank for example). Prim the cart once and just refill the tank after that. The cartomizers lasts about a week and just refilling the tank makes the thing easy to maintain.

2) When I notice I'm vaping to much I try to find something else to do. Usually a physical activity that will get the blood moving and bump up the breathing and heart rate. Let some fresh air flow thought my veins for a while. The vape isn't going anywhere and will still deliver any nicotine my body (my brain?) thinks it needs.

3) For flavors I keep it simple, I don't go for a specific brand's flavor like Momma's Extreme Industrial Banana Cream Pie from Joe's Garage Liquid Manufacturing Plant. Instead I found some general flavors I like: the vanillas, coffees and bananas.. I might prime a cart with coffee and fill the tank with banana then add vanilla for the refills. Flavors kinda flow from one to the next. Right now one tank is a little banana-ee and another tank is vananila-ee but they are all good and doesn't taste like I'm vaping the same thing all the time.
