Why mod ? I have a provari hits up to 6volts. Why buy a mod ? I know the argument zombie apocalypse and all... looks cooler.. maybe better build.... but really why? I would have to buy a kick which makes it a vv why not just stick with my very well performing vv... ? Have I burst mod bubbles? Flame away ....

Because we can. Not everyone is happy with a Provari. Not everyone is able to get enough performance out of it to satisfy their vaping style or needs. Some are happy with an Ego kit. For some of us it's a hobby that combines mechanical and electrical engineering with a bit of asthetic design thrown in. Your Provari is very long and can only supply A maximum of around 15watts and that's under specific conditions regarding your current coil resistance. My homemade u-can hybrid is under 4 inches driptip to bottom button holds 3ml of eliquid and will put out 18-20 watts depending on battery charge, has no electronics to fail, looks great, cost me less than $50 to make and when I use it I have the satisfaction of knowing I was the designer manufacturer and artist responsible for its creation or adaptation.

I really like the Provari, it is what I use everyday and I don't want to quit using it. That said it is not the only device out there. There are a lot of people where the Provari does not meet all of their needs and there are better alternatives for them.

The Provari does not meet all of my wants either. Provarii make up the center of my personal vaping gear but there are niches that it just does not cover so I am experimenting with things to cover those niches.

I have respect for those that take another route. I don't wrap my own coils and such nor do I want to go to the trouble of really high power vaping or the super low ohm route but nothing wrong with those that do.

Guess I'm the weirdo in the room. I like both, vv and mechanical devices. I prefer the larger diameter tubes like the Silver Bullet and Lava Tube. The hertz rate of a Silver Bullet seems to me to be double the rate of the Lavatube and other vv's I have tried but I can't prove it. I have 9 different tubes when all I really need is one and a backup so I guess it's an addictive hobby for me. To each his own, right? And if people think I'm nuts for having so much stuff, *#&$ them.

Do you really beleive that the Provari is the best vaping device acheivable?

If you do, then you have found vaping perfection and I envy you :)

If not, what would you change or improve?
That is your answer to the point of modding.

Personally I enjoy making things and pondering over how to improve my designs.
It gives me a sense of enormous well being ;)
