I have been vaping with a common aspire BVC, no adjustments, no disappointments. With most talk here nowdays, I bought an Avocado and a Theorem. Both are top notch -no leak nice systems. But they are too airy for M/L. I thought they would be something better than the simpleton I have. They also all come with a "drip tip" and a tank. Maybe I should just forget about rebuildables. I don't know. They are just not what I expected them to be.

There are plenty of rebuildables out there that have the tighter draw you are looking for. Many will like the RTA's because of the huge clouds and airflow. I do like a good volume of vapor, but I'm not a cloud chaser, per se. I like the RTA's because I'm not a slave to factory coils anymore. Fish around the forums some more or search tight draw RTA and see what comes up. My wife loves her TFV4 mini. I rewick it for her once a week and have maybe had to build a new coil for it twice in the last 6 months.

Just find a RTA that suits you. Don't give up on rebuildables because in a couple of years you may not be able to buy atomizers anymore.
We'll need to stock up on mods and RTAs. And learn to make juice. The Feds will ban it all.

Every MTL vaper needs a Kayfun. There's the KF Lite V2, the KF 3.1, the KF 4, and now the KF 5. The 5 has improvements like juice control and airflow. A standard V2 or V3.1 is all you need. The KF 4 is a good MTL mod, but it has a learning curve to disassemble and put back together. The KF 4 just has way too many parts. The KF 2 and 3 are single coil rebuildables that hold 4.5ml of juice and once you've watched a YouTube video on how to build it it's a snap to maintain. After you recoil and re-wick a few times you begin to develop the skills and it's easy.

Check out this thread for more info on MTL tanks available and user opinions.

This this this! I had a "Lite Plus Version 2 (two airholes)" clone made by EHPro, and I liked it so much I bought two more. It's the only thing I've bought more than once save for juices and coils. They're getting kind of hard to find these days, though, and even more so if you want the regular SS finish and not one of the different colored ones.

I've also heard good things about the v4 full-size and the Mini v3 but I haven't used them myself. Tobeco makes clones of both that might be worth looking into.

All my RTA's are SS except for one black KF 3 that is still in the box. Black makes sense with so many black mods these days. I'm still buying as I find deals and closeouts.

I agree. So I buy these 2 (%%&&%@@# RTA's, the avocado is too airy and the theorem has a short somewhere and I can't find it. I've already spent about 20 hrs troubleshooting.

However I can wire.

This vaping thing has changed so much over the years. I must have woken up after a long sleep and it's all about dripping and rda's and rta's. Meanwhile I am still hanging with a non adjustable atomizer. And I just notice today that Kanger came out with a new atomizer directed at MTL vapers- making it sound like it's this whole new idea. Thanks I think you helped me figure this out.

The jury's still out on whether long term inhalation of PG and VG vapor is good or bad for lungs. I can't help but inhale, but I wonder about the detrimental aspect of doing that for decades. It didn't hurt the rats in the 1940 two year experiment, but they didn't have flavorings and nicotine being heating and introduced into their environment.

These days vaping has gone from the 2009 seven watt eGo inhales to something equivalent to inhaling from a fog machine.

True sir. But I feel soooo much better than when I smoked. I doubt that it's 100% neutral on the body but it can't be near what analogs were. Even if you inhale half a ml at a time.
There's nothing poisonous in the juice I make so I'm pretty confident I'm much better off. Who knows what is in the stuff people buy mixed though? I know it's more rough in the throat but that could be any number of things they're using.

I have to agree. It's still being used to deliver medicine to lungs in breathing treatments in hospitals. Movie producers are still using it to make fog on the set and the EPA allows a certain number of hours in a day exposure for actors in fog scenes.

I go back and read studies here and there just to see if anything's changed. So far, it's still rated Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) and it's still injected into commercial HVAC systems as an EPA safe germicide fog that encapsulates airborne particles and sinks them to the floor. It's still in my Systane eyedrops that make my dry eyes feel better. It's still in soft drinks to reduce foaming and a LOT of the foods we eat and drink, as well as skin and hygiene products we rub on our skin.

PG is totally safe IMO. It's used in asthma inhalers and such like you said.
VG (90% of most of my juice) I feel the same way.
Both are used widely in our food, cosmetics and soaps. Inhaling them is probably fine.
Flavorings is the unknown for me...inhaling the aerosol.
No idea what they consist of and no idea if Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl are harmful or not.
