I've only been vaping for 8 months of so. 7 of them on RTAs so excuse me if I'm wrong but I think tanks used to be MTL oriented. Like a kayfun. People just kept pushing and devices got more powerful so people pushed harder...lol.

You're not wrong. I guess I'm still living in the past, LOL.

My husband's a retired respiratory therapist , so yea, both have been used a lot in treatments.

DaveP, 7 watts? I remember those days!

PG is totally safe IMO. It's used in asthma inhalers and such like you said.
VG (90% of most of my juice) I feel the same way.
Both are used widely in our food, cosmetics and soaps. Inhaling them is probably fine.
Flavorings is the unknown for me...inhaling the aerosol.
No idea what they consist of and no idea if Acetoin or Acetyl Propionyl are harmful or not.

I agree with the British Royal College of Physicians findings that vaping is 95% safer than smoking. We know what happens long term with smokers who are susceptible to the chemicals in cigarette smoke. But then, there are smokers who live a long life and don't develop smoking related illnesses. Obviously, there's something in our DNA differences that governs that.

After smoking for 40 years, I was used to having something to do with my hands and I enjoyed the relaxing act of inhaling and blowing out smoke. If it hadn't been for ecigs I might have never quit, or at least I'd be as miserable as the time I quit cold turkey for two years. :) That wasn't fun at all.

I don't think anyone can say it's totally safe, but it's a huge improvement over burning tobacco and inhaling it. Even the air we breathe isn't completely safe. It's full of foreign compounds introduced by industry and fossil fuel exhaust.

Exactly! It's not just nicotine. It's inhale exhale, something to do with my hands, something for my impatience. I would have never given it up either. Until I had a vape that actually worked and tasted better than a cigarette.

I think the tobacco companies keep looking for something that will use tobacco with nicotine , I don't care if it's tobacco inhaled thru water, I will not touch it. But they will keep at it since they are sitting on billions of dollars of tobacco.

We need some nice scientist that can find a new source of nicotine.

I'm sure it can be synthesized. I don't think Nude Nicotine and Carolina Xtracts use tobacco from the big tobacco people.
The tobacco farmers aren't the enemy, it's the cigarette people.
Cigarettes don't need hundreds of additives...that's big tobaccos doing.
If people used nutural additive free tobacco in their cigs, they would probably be alot better off.
Back when people picked a leaf out of the barn and rolled it up, cancer and other smoke related illness wasn't common.

My first ecig was a Joye 510 cigalike. All we knew was that it had a lithium battery and most atomizers were 2.5 and 3 ohms. If you had a 2 ohm atomizer that was cool, but it was a hot vape for most. The eGo just supplied a larger battery and some cutting edge atomizer designs that leaked. In those days, it was about vape time and all chargers plugged into the wall ... no USB for car charging.

This this this! I had a "Lite Plus Version 2 (two airholes)" clone made by EHPro, and I liked it so much I bought two more. It's the only thing I've bought more than once save for juices and coils. They're getting kind of hard to find these days, though, and even more so if you want the regular SS finish and not one of the different colored ones.

I've also heard good things about the v4 full-size and the Mini v3 but I haven't used them myself. Tobeco makes clones of both that might be worth looking into.

And this some more. Though I prefer just a run of the mill KFL+. Best MTL tank I've ever used. And I have used them all[emoji106]
