Funny, when I first started vaping over a year ago, dripping was all the rage.

Now, all I hear about are cartomizers and tanks. But, I also constantly hear about leaking, juices that destroy cartos, VG is too thick for them, etc. Then I hear about some nonsense with using vice grips and other tools to punch holes in cartos. It sounds like a nightmare! I'd also have a hard time giving up my favorite all-VG juices, or having to mess with diluting them with distilled water - then, there is the freedom to have a few drops of this, a few drops of that, without ever having to think twice about it.

Is anybody out there still dripping besides me?

I get different tastes between carts and attys for any pg juice. Good and bad.
High vg stuff has so far killed these 1.7 smoktech? (ressurector) cartos for me, so I always keep some 1.5 joye attys on hand. We've all seen attys breaking and overheating, and I've gone through at least 30 of the 'true joye' ones. The VK 10 bulk atty deal is the best around, and they must be the real thing since I've had trouble with 4-5 over the 2 years I've been vaping. My math is probably off but $50 for 10 shipped when I'm getting a month a piece out of them = $ saved.

That being said, any juice that has 50% or more vg in it I prefer in an LR atty. Hands down the best flavor and vapor. For some PG juices, too. Won't stop me from ordering ave juice, I get boba's for nostalgia and another 3 and have pretty much dedicated them to the atomizers. Crystal drip tips haha! You aren't alone.

Well, I'm a dripper but not a full-time dripper. Some tasks require my full attention, so I don't drip all the time...

Until the last couple of weeks anyway. I have only used two or three of my PVs in the last couple of weeks. The newest one is the reason I haven't used most of the others, and it is also the reason I'm dripping full time. I got a shiny new notcigs VVPV. So, I have been happily top feeding a 2.0 ohm hh357 at around 4.5v. Now I'm dripping without having to actually drip.

I will say that, like others, I very much enjoy bottom feeding. I absolutely adore my REO and will never abandon it - and indeed I plan to buy another one. However, --> Dripping/top feeding provides better flavor. I don't know why and maybe others will disagree, but the flavor is just better. Feeding an atty from the top is my favorite when I have a choice, and now I don't have any reason not to. My top feeder has all-day juice capacity and all-day battery life.

I drip from time to time when im at my desk, usually only when im trying a new flavor, or deviding what to switch to.

If your ONLY dripping, which it sounds like since you referenced things you have "heard" about different avenues of vaping, then i gotta say your really missing out, and handicapping yourself.

Depending on how much you vape, you can get hours of perfect flavor, excellent vapor and throat hit on a good cart. I have used alot of them, and rarely do you find one thats not bullet proof. Maybe thats just my luck though.

Tanks with a cart can be a pain in the ... if they dont feed properly, but out of ~10 recent pre punched carts, i have had one that i tossed, and one other that i had to stick a needle in to get working. When those work, easily get 1-2 full days of vaping without touching a thing.

Personally, my favorite right now are Volcanos MEGA Clearos. ....ing things hit like thunder, excellent taste, and giant vapor production. At first filling with a syringe kinda sucked, but after you do it, you realize its almost easier, less touching.

If dripping is what you love, thats great, but i would always recommend people try all the options out there... never know, might find something that will make you wonder why you waited so long.

I've got one atomizer that I like, a 3 ohm that came with my lavatube. Every other atomizer I've ever had always ended up tasting burnt, awful, horrible air flow, leaking, etc.

I can always depend on a pack of boges for a reliable vape. The smoktech DCT is great imo, and I've never had issue.

I'm a bit surprised at the amount of people that like the stardusts, they have next to no airflow. And the new c8 from gotvapes is very sensitive to how you use it, so I've had 2 HUGE leaks.

Meh, dripping isn't bad, but I wouldn't vape if there weren't cartos. I much prefer the flavor of cartos to dripping.

There's a lot of people who drip to sample flavors. For me, unless I want to try a whole lot of flavors in a short period of time, it's just too much of a hassle; like someone else said earlier, I get maybe 1-2 drags before I have to drip again. Just not worth it to me, plus I hate atomizer-taste. Give me a carto-tank anyday. :)

Glad so many people are chiming in on this thread! It's giving me something to consider, but also confirming a lot of what I suspected...

My one venture away form dripping was the once-coveted R&R ALi'i bottom-feeder. I agree about the flavor - there were a ton of juices that I had love don an LR atty on a good old-fashioned eGo that just didn't cut it any more on the Ali'i.

The one thing that I couldn't stand about the Ali'i was that I had to decide on a juice and stick with it to enjoy the bottom-feed feature, or change out the bottle. After a while, I found myself dripping into it anyway just to get the flavor back that I was used to - but, of course, I would only get a few puffs as it would just drain down into the catch-cup very quickly...

Hmmm..curious about this Notcigs VVPV...

I'm with ya. I drip except when driving. Nothing else I've tried provides the clean, pure taste. An atty lasts months. Gosh I wish there was a different name for dripping. I try most of what comes out to use when driving but nothing comes close for me. Drip on:)

Looks like some more drippers :)

I'm a noob; I've been vaping a little over a month. My first dripping experience was a disaster! I dripped through the tip of my 510 and ended up with more e-liquid in my mouth than on my atty! I bought a drip trip to see how I'd like it. Then, thank goodness, I read a post on one of these wonderful threads that said to put a few drops directly on the atty and then put on the drip tip and go. I drip whenever I am stationary otherwise it is a cheap tank or carto. I am now analog free for 6 days.
